Chapter 6: Prophesy
Hinata looked at the strange young couple and for some strange reason he felt drawn to them
"I know you," he said pointing at the woman, the woman before him had smiled
"you may call me Emi and yes you do"
"How?" he asked with the most genuine voice of curiosity that Kiwaseishi had ever heard him utter
"For now, I will keep that a secret," she said with a smile before pointing to her partner "Is he familiar to you as well?"
"No, He is not merely familiar, he feels like I'm staring at my reflection, no he feels like I'm the reflection"
"very observant," The man said "to avoid the risk of exposing our secrets, you may call me ghost"
Hinata eyed them suspiciously and jumped into a tree looking down at them, the two looked up at the boy curiously and ghost asked: "Does he always do that?"
"yes" both Emi and Kiwaseishi answered, this piqued Hinata's curiosity and he looked down at Emi.
as if she could read his mind she started explaining
"we're immortals like you but far, far older, I've been watching over you for your entire life, I guess you could say, you're as close to a son as I'll have"
Hinata grew wide and he looked down at her "now I know where I remember you from, The woman from my dreams, You spoke to me" for the first time in a while Hinata smiled and he seemed to trust the two people a lot more, while they were talking, a group of kids walked up, in the middle were 2 girls and 2 boys on the sides of those three and slightly behind stood 3 boys on the left and 3 girls on the right, one of the girls in the middle turned to Ghost and spoke
"Hand over everything you own and we'll let you leave unharmed" The four turned to each other and laughed, Hinata and ghost turned and glared at the girls with their piercing red eyes
"I'd love to see you try to hurt us" Replied Ghost
"I've been looking for a reason to get my hands bloody," Hinata said
Emi and Kiwaseishi both looked at each other and then back at the boys "Gotta love that" Emi said, to which Kiwaseishi nodded "it's kinda hot" they then walked up to the boys and smiled as they stood by their sides
"You guys are either stupid or crazy, you're outnumbered" the boy responded
"Forget it, just attack" the other boy responded and with that, all the young teenagers rushed at them,
Two of the girls swung their swords at ghost when he saw them coming, he jumped, turned horizontally and spun, making the girls cut each other rather than him, one of the girls fell to the floor and the other charged in again, he grabbed the sword, stared into her eyes coldly and kicked her into a tree a few yards away
At the exact same time, two of the boys had charged at Emi, one of them tried to punch her, the feeble attempt connected with her face and a sickening crunch was heard, the boy stepped back with a completely fractured arm and hand, the other stepped back in fair and grabbed a rock, he aimed at Emi, Emi, slammed her hand into the ground and a wave of magical energy surged forward, knocking the boy on his as, the rock hitting him in the stomach and knocking the wind out of him.
The last remaining pawns of the three in the middle, a boy and girl had charged at Kiwaseishi, she grabbed the boys staff and charged with electricity, making his hair stand on end as he convulsed and fell to the floor, the last one had kept her distance, using a whip on her, however, Kiwaseishi, pumped so much electricity into the whip that it started to heat up, and the girl dropped to the floor with a bad burn on her hand.
The four in the middle charged at Hinata, One of the boys tried to throw a gust of wind at Hinata, who Simply raised a pillar of lava and blocked it, throwing a wave of lava at the four, he then quickly finished off the others using his floating obsidian daggers and had left them with deep cuts all over their bodies
The entire battle took about five seconds and in the end, the four looked to Hinata, Kiwaseishi charged herself up, her eyes glowing green, her lightning crackling off her body, Emi pulled out her Katana infusing it with her aura, her now magic sword had red smoke flowing from it, Ghost also pulled out his katana, A large red ethereal dragon flying around his body in tight turns
"What the fuck are you people"
"Immortals" Hinata responded
"Oh fuck" the boy on the far left exclaimed
Hinata leaned down and stared at the four and scoffed, he summoned an obsidian dagger and cut them loose.
"get out of here before we change our minds," he said as he tossed their belongings back to them, "spread the word, Immortals are back, beware"
Emi turned to Hinata and raised an eyebrow "why'd you let them live?"
"They were teenagers, from the looks of it, they couldn't have been older than sixteen, they had their lives ahead of them, I wasn't going to snuff out their flames for a stupid mistake they made in their youth"
Ghost and Emi looked at him and smiled "we did a good job with you" Ghost said as he disappeared and grasped Hinata's arm, He then disappeared, as he did a bracelet formed on both his arms, Leviathans wrapped around his forearm, Emi hugged him and also disappeared, a necklace appeared around his neck with fangs around it and she smiled "you've done us proud" her voice said as she faded away.
"what was that about," Kiwaseishi asked with raised eyebrows
"I think those might have been my parents" Hinata dropped to his knees and felt something stabbing his mouth, he grabbed his teeth and felt that he had fangs "Fuck, I knew it"
"knew what?"
"I'm a hybrid, part vampire"
"That's kind of hot," She said and smiled at him, Hinata could not help but laugh a bit as he smiled
"you're something else Seishi"
"Y-You didn't call me by my full name, you shortened it" She smiled brightly hoping he was going back to being himself
"Don't make me regret it?" he said coldly and walked off
"Let's go to the nearby village, I can see Smoak, north"
