Chapter 12: Episode 2: Her Friend!
"Kill every last one of them... Make them pay.. Make them suffer... The Legacy is now you... Make them pay.. Kill them all..."
"Gah!.."
The lightsaber in hand, blazing red light from the beam, Val switched it off as she couldn't understand what happened.
"Lady Rin, we've arrived. Naboo is..there."
Said her C3P9, navigating the ship Val was in.
"Did you sleep well?"
Tried to converse the robot, but Val ignored it blatantly.
Tapping in the coordinate The Queen sent, Val's ship started to descend onto Naboo's atmosphere.
A few minutes later...
Dee'ja Peak, Quartier Faji.
Walking up the alley filled by people of every forms bargaining every sort of stuffs, the noise cracking up the street of vibration, the emerald structures reflecting by the sun rays; Val felt like she was Drakan.
And as she strolled towards the end of the road, she sensed something weird.
The next moment, a hand stole her lightsaber and dashed through an exit that only a small body could fit through.
Letting the latter flee on purpose, she was intrigued by the situation despite lacking in time.
"Lady Rin, do you want me to pursue and eliminate the pickpocket?"
Val hesitated before rushing in herself.
Humping in the sky, she kept track of the thief as they headed into the outlands of the city.
"Lady Rin, I believe this is not the most appropriate thing to do. You were sent by order of The Queen for a secret meeting and yet, you are violating khxzzz!!----"
Crushing mid-air as they moved at an high speed, C3P9's mechanical body became dust in a short time.
Val, poker face, headed forward not sparing a glance at her machine.
Spotting the pickpocket entering a cavern out of nowhere, Val didn't give much time before busting inside the cavern, open.
And suddenly, voices of little kids popped.
Then...
"I didn't think that I would meet my 'friend' here.. Hi, Val!"
A colorful outfit with a red lightsaber in hand, Mertens appeared, appearing calm.
"Hmmm.."
Husked Val as she was hovering over the exploded cavern, looking down on Mertens and the children surrounding her.
Val thought of something at that moment: 'My precious..'
"Those eyes of yours. How has it changed so much throughout the years..? It became a gloomy red... So scary, heh.. How about we discuss this theft before you start rampaging everywhere..? Okay?...Don't tell me you still haven't learnt how to talk?"
Val descended but it wasn't for a discussion.
She wanted to square it off.
"I guess there's no turning back if you won't listen to me no--"
And out of nowhere, when everything made it seem like Val wanted to fight, Mertens was surprised be a hug of Val.
A hug so light, she didn't know how to react.
A crazy situation; for a crazy relationship.
Told by her masters of the dangerousness of a sith, Mertens wasn't sure how to behave with Val, who looked like she wanted happiness for that short moment.
Then, Val said this:
"Valérie Mertens, My Friend."

HobiTA yes, Val is unconventional.
She became lord of the sith by her unique level use of the force compared to legends like Vader and Bane.
But she lacks a lot to be as good as them in leadership and vileship.
As she considers Valérie Mertens, A Friend.
