Chapter 5: Let’s hang out?
After the fight everything went back to normal just like the fight never happened. No rumours, no involvement of the police, nothing what so ever.
Of course Reina though it was strange but remembering that Hiro has a backing everything made sense. Obviously he had something to do with it.
After the day of the fight goes by Reina returns to school, in her classroom she is the only in there, she decides to take a nap before class starts. Taking out her earphones she starts to play some music.
Few music go by and Reina has already falling asleep, not noticing a pair of eyes looking at her. The chair beside her gets pulled out as a man takes a seat beside her, placing his hands on her cheek he suddenly pinches her.
Startled awake she death stares the person who had pinched her.
"Why did you do that," Reina says rudely, "it hurt."
The man smiles at her, "let's hang out?"
"No. We have school."
"After school, I'm not taking no as an answer either way I'll drag you along." He gets up from the chair and leaves her sitting there dumbstruck.
"Why can't you just let me be, Hiro?" A voice whispers in the silent classroom.
It's the end of the school day and Reina packs her bag up quickly wanting to avoid a certain someone. Speed walking out of her classroom she pears down the hallway, seeing no signs of Hiro she bolts to the 1st flour.
Before she makes it to the second flour two arms wrap around her waist, struggling to get out of the persons grip, Reina moves her head forward and then quickly pulls back head butting the person.
Sadly the person was taller than her so she only head butted their chest.
"Calm down." Hiro speaks beside her ear, "I told you even if I have to drag you along you're coming with me."
"Put me down!" Reina angrily replies.
"Fine, don't run off then." Putting her down Hiro looks at her, "lets go eat Im hungry." Hiro walks away making his way to the first flour then to the school gate, Reina following behind him with no choice.
"What are we eating?" Reina voices her thoughts to Hiro.
"Spicy hot pot," Hiro stares down at her, "do you like spicy food?"
Staring up at him as she answers, "Sure."
"What a nice answer." walking into the restaurant they order their food. "Good right?" He asks Reina as she eats.
"Yes it's alright." Answering as she continues to eat.
After they both finish eating Reina walks out of the restaurant finding her way to an ice cream shop, Hiro following behind her.
"I'd like a cookie and cream ice cream please, what about you?" Waiting for Hiro to choose.
"I'd like the same as her." Reina gets ready to pay but before the cashier takes her money a hand moves quicker passing his card to the cashier.
Looking at Hiro she asks, "Why did you pay? I was already ready."
"I believe a gentleman should pay on the first date." Reina looks at him like a crazy man.
She says, "You should have paid for the hot pot, gentleman my ass." Taking her ice cream from the cashier she walks out of the shop.
Following her Hiro replies to her remark, "Next time I will."
They walked around for a little longer to help with after all the food they had eaten, then separate to their own paths. Reina heading home and Hiro heading to who knows where.
When Reina gets home she heads straight to her bedroom and the back of the house and slumps onto her queen sized bed.
Closing her eyes, she slowing falls into a dream to escape reality.
Sadly it was not a dream she had but a nightmare. A nightmare of the day her best friend committed suicide.
"What are you doing! Come down from there!" Reina frantically yells at the girl standing on the edge of the bridge that leads to the darkest depths of water.
"Forgive me Reina." The girl smiles at Reina, slowly taking a step she falls off of the bridge.
Reina runs to the fencing of the bridge that her friend was standing on. Reina's yells drowning in the air as no one hears her nor helps her.
She falls to the ground balling her eyes out. Her friend took her life like it was nothing.
Reina wakes up, sitting up and placing her head on the bed head, tears stream out of her eyes but her face held no emotion only her eyes did,
