and so, it wandered
for hundreds of years, it walked that barren wasteland
it could make other machines, yes, but none like it
so it remained alone
until one day, it wasn't
as you see, the machine would have to rest
since it had gained a conscience, it needed to rest
physically, it could not get tired, as it had three high tech fusion cores powering it, and it was smart enough to know how to repair itself with junk from the abundant abandoned cities
but you see, one day, it didn't wake up where it had gone to sleep
instead, it woke up in a ream of white.
naturally, it was confused
there was nothing there, yet it could walk like normal, as though still on ground
it was fine when it has gone to sleep, so it couldn't have died
it remained confused until a voice spoke from behind him
"oh?"
it turned around
behind it is what looked like a person
i say this because of several peculiar things about him
first he had attire from what seemed to be from the early 21st century, wearing a sweater and sweatpants, along with a pair of socks and sneakers on his feet.
secondly, he was two to three times the high of the machine, and the machine was about a foot or two taller than the average man, who still was taller than the people from that time period
thirdly, something was strange with his face.
indeed, it wasn't obscured by anything, nor was it unlike a human's, but the machine just couldn't register or remember it.
"ah, you must be confused. my name is ☺↕░Ω≈♂☼"
the machine, understandably so, had no idea what he had just said, and knew less of how he actually said it
"my bad, my bad" the man said, like reading the machine's mind, "you can call me Deus"
"god" the machine said
"I figured it worked" he said "after all, that is what I would be considered closest to"
"why am I here?" asked the machine
"to answer that question, you must first understand the universe" Deus responded
"would you wish to learn that, even if it meant great sadness?"
"if that is what is required, then so be it"
