Chapter 2: 2
I woke up to my phone ringing loudly, and a throbbing headache coming through with all the hair pulling that Percy did last night I could barely move from the beating he gave me a few days though, for getting caught up coming in late that didn't end up well as you can tell
I get up from my torn up mattress and started getting ready for the hell whole I called "school".
Her outfit;
I begin wrapping up my stomach, I got my makeup bag that my mom left when she died it was in the box of things that Percy was throwing. I was just in time to get it before everything to the dump and photo of this man that I never met, he had features just like me, hair, face, and all.
I went to my mattress and got out my makeup bag, I went to the bathroom to apply the makeup on my bruises so no one will seem them. I finished up and went downstairs luckily Percy wasn't here
I grab me a apple on my way out. I always did eat light cause my loving step father starves me
I started my walk on my way to school, it far my school was like 20 minutes away from the house
I was currently in front of my school entrance, I had take a deep breath before I went
"Hey dahlia " I jump up from the sudden voice I look behind me and it was my friends
"Oh, my fucking god you scared"
"You been jumpy lately what's up with that" Levi asked curiously
"Nothing it's just you guys scared me" I said avoiding Eliza contact
She is the only one that knew about abuse. I was in the bathroom all beaten and blooded up it wasn't the worst beaten I gotten from Percy that particular morning but Eliza came in at the moment to see me like that. Even though Percy told me not to say anything to anybody I couldn't keep that such kind of thing from her at that time but I beg her not to tell anyone even Sage and Levi I couldn't risk anybody getting hurt especially because of me
We all went inside instead of me heading straight I followed Eliza, I never had books I got them but they were torn and destroyed by Percy to him I could have anything nice
"Did he do any damage" Eliza asked
"No he didn't" I responded
Technically I wasn't lying he did a little damage of pulling my hair like a maniac but other than that I was fine
She wanted to say something but the bell ring to cut our conversation short but I'm glad it did to much memories that I didn't like were coming back to me
I walked in the class making my grand entangled of Mrs. Walker my least favorite teacher of all time. She's a bitch to me I could look at her and she sends me out her class rooms.
She groaned loudly looking at me with her glare that never seems to leave her face when she looks at me
I smiled at her telling her good morning while walking to the back
I sat at my desk and put my head down, since I didn't have anything to do. The school couldn't lend me another book since I "destroyed" the last two I had. I mean it ain't my fault when you have a angry drug addict step father your living with destroys your things after the last two incidents I just stop asking for them and they stop giving
Before I could fall my name was called on the loud speaker
Everyone looked my way staring, I look at my friend's mouthing 'What did you do' I mouthed back 'I don't know' I grab my bag and headed out the class I started thinking of every possible I could of done or if I'm getting suspended for the fights
I walk in the office. And the lady at the front desk didn't even look my way, she knew me to well to look this either I was in and out the office every day or any other week
I walk straight nearly taking the door off busting it open
And said "Well hello Owen how is my favorite principal today? How is you, your wife and the kids?" I asked with a stupid smirk on my face
He looked at me and roll his eyes.
"Dahlia I don't have kids and you know that" he responded
"Well Owen if you and wife just get busy I'm sure you will" I said
I noticed a guy in the chair I look at him then Owen.
"Ok Owen what is this about. But whatever it is, it's not my fault this time I'm surely what I did was a good purpose like everytime I did get in trouble" I said
"Dahlia you set one of the classrooms on fire you put two cheerleaders in the hospital and you broke one of the students jaw" Owen said
"Well Owen they had it coming and I didn't mean to set the classroom on fire I was doing chemistry like Ms. Walker said and I did" I said
"She told you follow the directions and you didn't" he said
"Well I didn't want to but at least I was doing something and not sleeping" I said smiling
"Well I have bad news to give to you" he said looking at me with pity. I hate when people look at me with pity it's like they feel sorry for you when they shouldn't, don't feel sorry for me now
He hesitated for a moment "Your step father Percy had a severe car accident but he didn't make it"
