Destiny wasn't sure how to feel at the end of the letter. She wasn't sure about Marcus Harper true feelings and what he must be going through. Destiny felt helpless and she knew Marcus felt helpless too. She knew he couldn't help having to be forced into a relationship with Valarie Meadows. He couldn't help it because his parents was in danger. Destiny should have stayed with Marcus in Daniel Boone forest. She knew her family would have been fine without her constantly causing trouble. In their eyes she was making trouble but she really was wanting peace. Looking back to her original plan it wasn't about Salem Massachusetts and going back it was all about peace and belonging. Destiny had a new outlook on why she even started this magical contract in the first place. Noone was going to stop her from creating it and being with Marcus. Not even the vampire council or Valarie Meadows. She was going to reset into motion her contract even if it meant death.
