The next morning, when the carriage stopped outside Royal Palace, Evelyn was still stiff all over. But she had a calm expression on her face as if she pretending to be strong.

Rex and Regan were also inside the carriage.

After it stopped, both of them stepped out first and Regan stretched his hand out to help Evelyn. Evelyn stared at the hand for a moment before placing her own in his and then stepped out of the carriage.

Her beautiful gown made her look lovely. It was slightly surreal for Evelyn because she still couldn't believe that she had married the prince. Fortunately, this has changed nothing.
