Chapter 456: The Door

It seemed like a good while before they left the temple and made their way out to the cave. A moment of truth to know what was behind this last massive door. Vintas was rather excited Carter could tell. Even if the man was rather formal and stoic all the time. It was an easy trip into the cave. 

The worms were now staying out buried deep in the sand most of the time. With multiple dragons here it was a trap in the tunnels of the cave. Though the dragons did not push if there were multiple large worms in the back. They were just an amazing food source, and Vintas said that he had a feeling the worms were both trapped here to stop them from devouring everything and as a secondary safety measure for the stores. After all the worms did not discriminate, they ate everything.
