Chapter 1: gen zero, a place where all start
The magician #1 crime fighting 101
A man was standing in a tall building overlooking the city he had been protecting since he was young.
Maybe it should be said that he was younger since even today he is still a teenager.
"Days are getting stranger around here." Says the man while fixely staring at the spot before jumping down.
During the fall some beads started to envelop the man's figure and after a bright glow both the beads and the man disappeared.
"Pa-pass the money." Said a man that seemed very anxious while holding his gun.
"Told ya you'd chicken out, you are basically pissing yourself right now." Said another man laughing while carrying his gun
"It can't be that you are scared of that rumor right" says another guy that was picking the money up, and While he didn't have weapons in hand they were still in his pocket. "It's just another baseless rumor that got spread to try and scare us."
"But what if he really exists?" Ask the 1st guy
"If my mother had wheels she would be a bicycle, and besides if he was indeed real then we would just put a bullet on his face." Says the second guy.
"Oh no how bad would it be right? I don't like bullets in my brain." snarcks a voice from behind the 3.
"WHO?" Say the second guy while looking back, only to be met with nothing.
"Behind." Says the same voice again in the back of the 2nd guy
Then only a *thump could be heard as the man falled to the ground.
"Jake." Say the first guy while panicking
"You idiot, you said his name." Said the 3rd one as he starts to get very angry.
"No need to worry, soon enough the three will be behind the bars"says the voice once again, before a *thump was once again heard.
"M-mike…" says the first one "say something..." He was now experiencing all the fear someone may have, and the now silent place that was very dark also didn't help.
"Boo" said the voice once again and before he could even do anything, the first guy passed out due to fear.
"...I know I am not the most beautiful but I didn't know it was that bad" said the voice once again before disappearing, leaving behind both a group of criminals on the ground and a group of tourists that probably won't come back to visit again any time soon.
"The number almost doubled" says the voice referring to the crime rate that has been constantly rising, which still is much lower than most cities.
"So all I have to do is to find where that guy Is and then everything will fall back to its place" say the man before remembering his homework "... I might have to deal with another enemy first. Seriously, who was the twisted person that made homework?"
The figure then snaps into a ball of light enveloped by beads and disappears.
(An: this was supposed to be the end for today but I decided to add more)
Volts #1 low tension
I was in my lab studying the energy I discovered, it had the ability to change into all energies, had a super high energy value and attracts other types of energy. I was said to be a super genius but I can't truly know the limits this energy has.
I've been studying it for the past 50 days and I just discovered something both small and huge.
It would mean an entire new existence to study in science, or maybe even more, so many new things and yet it is only a fraction of all it had to give.
Now knowing how amazing this is I decided to hear my friend and change the name, and crossing the past ideas(Wattsfield, en-57, electrions) I ended up choosing omni-energy for the name.
Then suddenly one of my machines malfunctioned, it was my container, and the opening of said container allowed for the energy that possessed unique properties to, in Layman's term, blast away.
And my last thoughts before blanking out was 'the damned container showed a problem now? I had run up 10 checks on its condition…'
Phantoms #1 ghost stories 1
Many people say ghosts don't exist
Many say they do.
And some think they exist under special rules.
I am the third case, I've lived my entire life unders the unnatural, having a strong connection with the mystic side of the world.
It was expected that I would have a connection sith the mystic since my family I'd made up of occultists, shamans, exorcists, mages and even some rare cultists.
It was just that I was well above the expectations, I have almost all the qualities someone born from the unnatural can have, and my spirit by itself was very strong.
It also happened that I had quite the knack for it, and it had brought Ms to many cool adventures, the problem?
"I am bored." I state, the problem is that existence gets monotonous when you don't change, and I am having almost the same routine I had when I was 4 years old.
"Should I apply for another course… nah it'd still be boring." I say while doing my job.
{Look at me} say in a spirit that I'm gonna exercise in a minute.
"Sure." Normally, it is a bad idea to play the game according to the spirits rule, but I am bored so there is that.
Suddenly I felt something trying to reach my brain, before disappearing.
"You were kinda of good, took 3 seconds so my natural defense could shake that off." I say matter of facts
{Look at ME} he said while doing a mad rush towards me.
"Forget what I said…" I say while activating am ritual circle. "You are trash." As these worlds leave my mouth a bright light emanates and he is gone.
"What kind of dumbass ghost try to tackle someone? If you ran out of tricks just run or give up." I say to no one in particular.
"I think I have homework… yeah I am going to do that." I say before receiving a notification on my cell phone. "Scrap that, i will deal with one more ghost and then go home."
After 14 more ghosts he went to sleep, but not before thinking, 'man my teacher is gonna be so pissed out.'
"Oh well, problem for future me."
