Chapter 50: The Intruder (Part Two)

The woman's eyes narrowed as she studied him as if trying to discern the truth behind his words. "You're not one of them, are you?" she asked cautiously, her voice quivering with a mixture of fear and suspicion.

"No, I'm not," Cassiel answered earnestly, hoping to convince her of his sincerity. "I don't know how I got here or why I'm wearing these robes. I need to leave this place, but I have no idea where I am or how to get out."

The woman seemed to ponder his words for a moment before sighing softly. "This is a dangerous place, young man," she warned, her voice tinged with a sense of sorrow. "The Dark Lord and his followers are not to be trifled with. They wield dark powers that can ensnare even the most unsuspecting souls."

"I believe you," Cassiel said, his resolve strengthening. "I don't want any trouble. I just want to find a way back to where I belong."
