The sky turned dark by the time she returned to the Mu residence.

The servants had prepared dinner, but only Xi Xiaye, Mu Lingshi, and Mu Yinan were around the dining table. Mu Tangchuan and Zhuang Shurong had appointments tonight and would not be back for dinner.
