Chapter 1: The Man Who Tricked God...

I felt a sense of chill enveloping me as the darkness crept in. My thoughts in this moment where not those of revenge, hatred, or even anger.
Curiosity. thats all i felt at that moment, the desire or rather the seeming need to understand, no to comprehend what the fuck had just happened to me.
6 hours prior.
A young man who seemed to be in his early twenty's was walking down the road while waiting for the signal to cross, he wore an all black suit which seemed to be made of excellent material. Raymond was about to cross after the lights gave him the signal to while he was reading a manga called jujutsu kaisen. As one would expect Raymond was your average everyday otaku.... or so he may seem at least.
In reality Raymond was a member and the head of the Darmyund family, a family notorious for their underground empire and global political influence. Raymond on the other hand hated the fact that he was from this family, it wasn't that he didnt like the life of luxury or the amount of power that came with such a family, after all he appreciated all of these things greatly. What he didn't like however was his lack of freedom, Raymond had all that most would desire in life, The most beautiful women(as long as they weren't family of course.), the best luxuries money could buy and the amount of privileges that he was exposed to as a child, however he never liked or fancied most of these things.
It wasn't because he was a goody two shoes or anything of the sort since if anything he was more of a neutral evil person. That said he simply got bored of them. He always got whatever he wanted till it got to a point he simply stopped wanting, he stopped caring for many things in life that most would do anything for.
This detachment from physical things led him to desire things he simply couldn't have, one of these things was superpowers, call it childish but he desired superpowers or rather powers in general, this led him to the path of manga, anime and other works of fiction.
Eventually he began to distance himself from his family and his duties. Raymond's family at first thought he was just going through a phase of acceptance to the life he was destined to live, after all every other head of the family thus far did the exact same thing so it could be said to have unconsciously become an unofficial tradition in the family. It didn't take long for them to however realize that this was not just another phase as Raymond seemed to grow even more distant as they gave him space, eventually forcing his father to declare him the leader of the family at an early age in attempt to forcefully hone him through the responsibilities that came with the position.
Raymond fulfilled his role as the head of the family perfectly being ruthless when needed and soft when convenient. The Darmyund family began thinking that Raymond was slowly changing and accepting his reality but the truth could not be any more different. Raymond only played the role as the perfect being in front of his family and subordinates but deep inside he had slowly stopped caring about them. Raymond was getting deeper in his desire to posses something that he never could. This was caused by his parents teachings about everything belonging to them and how if he wanted something he should simply take it as it was his right.
This mentality grew with Raymond all his life as he constantly obtained whatever he wanted, so when he found something he couldn't have he felt betrayed, it was childish, foolish and ridiculous but thats how it felt, he felt that all his parents told him was a lie. They preached to him that everything belonged to them and when he found a hole in that mentality no matter how stupid it seemed to everyone else. It mattered to him.
Raymond's family giving him space did not help either as it was clear that he needed help, but his family never saw that, they saw what they wanted to see and of course it didn't lead him to hate them, it simply lead him to stop caring about whatever they said, because it was all lie's.
Raymond developed a deep interest in anime or rather in overpowered characters, with the reason being they possessed the thing he desired most, overwhelming power. Right now raymond was reading a manga called jujutsu kaisen but really all he cared about was gojo satorou. Raymond had intentionally left the meeting area silently so he wouldn't have to get into the limousine with his sister as she was to him no better than a dead person and it wasn't just her, it was the same to all his siblings. Raymond was the last of all the Dramyund children yet he was the one being forced to become the family head, and it wasn't because he was the most talented. It was simply because his 'siblings' had all abandoned the post because they all had their lives to live and as he was the last one left, he was essentially forced to become the head of the family since his siblings threw him under the bus for their sake.
As Raymond was crossing the road while reading him manga he was suddenly hit by a truck. The amazing thing in this was that the truck hit only him out of the dozen people who were crossing the road with him.

Present.
Raymonds POV:
I was confused just simply how the truck driver managed to hit me with that level of precision. I wasn't surprised in the slightest when i was about to die, it was actually a very common thing as it was rare for a family head to live past 20 years after taking the position, this was also one of the reasons my siblings didn't want that responsibility as although one would be the face of the family and would hold the most authority, it also meant one would be the target for all manners of assassination so I wasn't surprised when I realized what had happened but was somewhat sad that I was going out after only being head for four years.

After what seemed like an eternity Raymond finally heard a voice in his head saying,"My, hello there, sorry it took a while to find a suitable vessel for you so i apologize." said the seemingly god like existence.
"Ah yes no problem.. so am i to assume that you are god and are suppose to get me into an alternate universe?" Raymond said looking somewhat expectant of this ROB's next answer.
"Hahahahahaha ah yes you humans seem to know more and more about the process as the years go on." ROB said in a clearly amused tone and then went on to continue"As you most likely know i usually grant three wishes but since you managed to peak my interest ill grant you 5 wishes." ROB said.
"However i would like to state that i have three major rules, first you cannot ask for infinite wishes, second you cannot ask to be god and third you cannot ask for my eradication." ROB said after almost learning about the last one the hard way.
"Ok thats easy." Raymond said and proceeded with his first wish. "For my first wish i wish that you are unable to read my mind." Raymond said, the truth was he had actually been preparing for this for many years of his life after all as someone who was obsessed with superpowers it would be foolish of him to not be aware of the ROB and three wishes system.
"Hmm?" ROB said seemingly intrigued by Raymond's first request but he didn't think much of it as he believed as time went by humans had become less scheming so he wasn't on guard especially after he realized it was his drinking buddy Truck-Kun who sent him. The reason for this was Truck-Kun only sent those with deep obsession about fantasies and superpowers. Such people were mostly not scheming in nature and were mostly innocent but what ROB didn't know was that the morons that usually met him were just a small population of the otaku community and were considered idiots even there. People like Raymond on the other hand were quit common. It was just that Truck-Kun was always nice to him and sent those guys on the express way while leaving a system behind for them to use. This time however Truck-Kun had intentionally sent a capable person to ROB in order to have his revenge on ROB for sleeping with his beloved Ishtar-chan and then pretending like nothing happened. Naturally he already had a punishment for Ishtar as he planned on giving a massive buff to a certain blonde king(THOTSLAYER).
"For my second wish i wish that whatever wish i make after this will be accepted as long as it isn't one of the banned wishes." Raymond said. At this point ROB was getting very suspicious and he instantly regretted agreeing to the first wish, the reason for his confusion made sense as Raymond was making very weird and ridiculous wishes, ROB felt like he should not agree to Raymond's second wish but thats when Raymond spoke "Hey ROB the girls in the MHA as hot as they are in the anime." Raymond said with a hint of lust in his eyes and this seemed to calm ROB down a great deal as he instantly believed that Raymond was still one of those foolish mortals who thought with their lustful minds as he expected Raymond to ask him for a hentai system or something like that after all it had happened on the past.
"Ah yes of course you can have that." and as soon as ROB said this a magnificent smile grew on Raymond's face and all traces of lust that were there in an instant where gone. The reason for Raymond's first wish was to block the possibility of ROB reading his mind and figuring out the plan he had began setting into motion from the moment he heard his voice.
After successfully getting his first wish done he then proceeded to get his second wish and this was the most important as it would determine everything from then on. the moment ROB stayed silent and was in thought Raymond decided that he needed to do something as if ROB became even more careful he could figure out his plans and decide to not reincarnate him any more so in that moment Raymond put on the most lustful look he had and lo and behold he had successfully fooled ROB into thinking he was another idiot and proceeded to grant him his wish.
'hahahahahah am i amazing or what' Raymond thought to himself and then looked at ROB and continued thinking 'This was very risky as although he couldn't read my mind there was nothing stopping him from looking into the future and realising what i was trying yo do and thankfully he didn't as he agreed.' Raymond didn't know if ROB forgot to do that, didn't think he had to, or whether he was just plain stupid.
'Most likely all of the above' Raymond thought before saying "For my third wish i wish for you to be unable to erase my existence" Raymond chose this for his next wish as although he was confident he had ROB on checkmate he wasn't willing to take any risks.
ROB who had agreed to his second wish could only make his third wish happen and with this Raymond smiled again and said "For my fourth wish i desire to have the ability/blessing of Reinhard from Re:zero. "
And with this ROB was confused at first but agreed as he needed Raymond's memories to make that one true as he was unaware of who Reinhard was while Raymond couldn't help my laugh internally at how such a moron became such an existence.
"My fifth wish is that anything i acknowledge as a blessing automatically becomes a blessing." It was at this point that ROB was shocked the most because he expected Raymond to use this wish to go to the MHA world or at least get a hentai system but he didn't and it was at this point ROB finally started to put two and two together and realized that he had been tricked after Raymond let him access his memories about Reinhard ROB was shocked and then furious beyond belief.
It was only natural after all as Raymond had essentially tricked him into making him no less of a god that ROB himself "U SPAWN OF GAIA!!!!" ROB yelled and shook parts of the universe but he was unable to do anything to Raymond as he still had his third wish going for him "ah yes ROB you have to reincar-" but before he could finish his statement he felt an influx of power and passing through him and for the first time in years Raymond cried. he had finally accomplished what he desired the most...
