Chapter 3: The showing
As per prior agreement I went to Noah's house with Noah, Sylvia, and Damion. We walked toward the backyard to show off our new abilities, Noah with his energetic energy was practically jumping up and down. He was so excited he didn't even wait and just said "I'll go first guys!" he then closed his eyes and then opened them. I was startled and so were Damion and Sylvia, because his eyes changed and they now looked like a wolves. With a worried tone he said " so what do you guys think?" Sylvia stepped forward and said " they're beautiful Noah" recovering from my shock I stepped forward and said " ya man they look cool and ferocious, what ability is it?" With a proud smile on his face he said. " they're a sensory type ability all five of my sense get boosted and so does my perception , alright Sylvia you go next." Sylvia stepped forward and closed her eyes in concentration, a burst of cold came from her body and us guys looked at each other with big smiles on our faces thinking the same thing "ice powers for the ice queen".
Sylvia stopped using her ability and said " Damion your turn now." Damion stepped forward and held out his hand, In the palm of his hand we could see shadows dancing around. "cool you got shadow powers man!" Noah said in his usual energetic voice. Damion smiled and looked at me saying "alright your turn Ray." I smiled and stepped forward then held out my hand like Damion did and summoned my crimson fire. They stared at the fire in silence till Sylvia said "your fire is so strong, normal beginning knights like us don't have this kind of power" "I know" I responded " usually you have to be a rank 3 knight not an initial rank 1 knight like us"
After we talked about our abilities for a while me, Sylvia, and Damion left to go to our own houses. 'I wonder what my father left for me' I thought as I walked home since I would know soon I pushed the thought to the back of my mind.
