In the room that was completely dark, there was a capsule, and inside the capsule was a man.

The man's exposed upper body had the absence of half of his head, which included one eye, an ear, and part of his skull. The remaining eye gazed vacantly, and the exposed part of his skull was covered with a sterile medical dressing. The area where his legs should be was sealed with surgical closure.

The intricate network of tubes attached to his body included various sizes and functions. Some were thin, translucent lines delivering essential fluids and medications, while others were thicker, transmitting vital data to monitors with blinking lights. The tubes snaked across his chest and abdomen, disappearing into the multitude of machines that surrounded the capsule. Soft, rhythmic beeping sounds emanated from these machines, punctuating the otherwise somber silence of the room.
