Chapter 4: The bit of difference
The little boy continued to stare at the baby sleeping in the cot.
"Darling what's wrong? Why do you continue to stare at your little sister like that?", The woman Ming Xi asked her son, Su Fui.
"Mom why is little cherry having very white skin? It's even whiter than snow...don't you think it's weird?", Su Fui continued to stare at the baby as he spoke.
"Darling it's normal, her skin is like that because she's a baby, it'll gradually change okay? Moreover what's wrong with having such white skin? Is it not very nice and beautiful? It's a glowing treasure!", Ming Xi couldn't help but smile as she spoke, she had already accepted the baby as her missing child even though she knew the baby was not hers.
"But mom she has two strands of white amidst the black, look it's right at the front!", Su Fui pointed at it.
"Su Fui! Stop asking questions about your little sister alright? Go to your room now!", Ming Xi had gotten a bit annoyed seeing the way her son was asking questions about the baby, she felt like it was a discrimination.
So what if little cherry had unnatural white skin or had two white strands in her hair? She was still her daughter no matter what.
Su Fui walked into his room angrily, this was the first time his mother had yelled at him and it was just for his little sister!
"Little Cherry... don't take away mommy's love from me please.", Su Fui muttered sadly and climbed his bed.

Later on the Su family announced to a few people that they had found their daughter, not many people knew that their daughter had gone missing just a few family members, they sent their greetings and expressed their happiness for the family.
Su Fungle entered Little Cherry's room and approached the baby's cot, he sat on the chair near it with a smile, he held a dazzling pink bear in his hands.
"It's already been a month since you stayed here and I've already accepted you with my whole heart as my own flesh and blood...here's my gift to you...", Su Fungle placed the pink bear beside her then kissed her forehead. He stood up ready to leave when he realized that the baby was holding onto his little finger staring at him with her large white eyeballs and she was smiling, showing two deep dimples which made her look very cute.
Su Fungle smiled and sat down back, he sang her her lullaby until she fell asleep, even then she still did not let go of his hands.
"You want me to stay with you tonight huh?", Su Fungle leaned against the sofa and closed his eyes, he made sure his finger was still in her palms.
Later on when he was asleep Ming Xi walked in and covered him with a blanket.
Morning...
Su Fungle woke up from hearing the soft sounds of Little Cherry, he sat up immediately and took a look at her, at that moment Ming Xi also rushed in.
"Su Fungle what's wrong? I heard Little Cherry's voice just now, was she crying?", Ming Xi asked worriedly.
"I'm not sure but I just woke up, she doesn't look like she was crying... take a look at her", Su Fungle said.
"I think she's hungry...oh gosh how could I have forgotten that she needed to be fed? I'm going to get the milk now!", Ming Xi walked out.
"It's weird you didn't cry for food...most babies cry when they're hungry but you...you only made some noises. I feel like you're special.", Su Fungle caressed her little hands gently his eyes full of sincere love and care.
Ming Xi returned few minutes later with milk, she took Su Jiu into her arms and fed her the milk.
The couple took care of the little baby with a heart full of love.
Su Fui returned later in the afternoon but did not see his parents in the living room, as he was thinking about where they might have gone he heard their voices from above in his sister's room.
Su Fui walked upstairs but didn't go there, he turned to the other side and entered his room.
"Little Cherry... when are you going to grow up? My birthday is approaching soon and I'm sure mom and dad are going to forget", the little boy muttered sadly wiping away a few tears away.
Ming Xi handed the milk to Su Fungle and left to check up on her son.
"Darling?", Ming Xi knocked slightly and entered the room.
"Mom?", Su Fui sat up in surprise upon hearing his mother's voice.
"Are you surprised to see me? How was school today?", Ming Xi sat by his bed.
"It...it was okay, we learnt lots of new things!", Su Fui was happy to see that his mother still cared about him, he thought she had forgotten about him.
"That's great! Always be a good boy alright? Mom and dad are very proud to have such an obedient son like you, why don't you change and join us to take care of your sister? Later on we'll help you do your home assignments alright?", Ming Xi kissed his forehead and stood up to leave.
"I'll be there shortly!", Su Fui was overjoyed and happy, his mom and dad had really not forgotten about him!
The whole family took care of the jade like little baby for a while before returning to do their duties respectively.
Su Fui slept happily that night and gained a bit of love for his little sister.
...
Seven months later...
Little Cherry crawled on the ground holding a barbie doll in her hands, her hair had grown a bit beneath her shoulder and her skin had become much more whiter than before.
"Little Cherry!", Su Fui who had just returned from school run to carry his little sister without even placing his backpack down.
"Boo...", Su Jiu made little noises as if in response to her brother.
"Little Cherry, look how beautiful you've become, just like me!", Su Fui tried to lift her higher but didn't have that level of strength, he placed her on the sofa beside him after getting tired and played with her for a bit before returning to his room to wash up.
"Our children are maturing...", Ming Xi hugged her husband happily, she was pleased with the outcome of everything.
Their family company was now blooming in business and their little family was also together in happiness.
