Chapter 17: CHAPTER SEVENTEEN:PROMISES ARE MEANT TO BE BROKEN

Enzo never meant for things to happen like this, he had the intentions of making Christie meet Avianna in a more private and comfortable place but it happened this way, so it was not totally his fault, he partially blamed Avianna who won't stay at a place.

He couldn't stop smiling at Avianna's face expression; she looked like someone who had just seen a ghost or something, he never imagined it would boost his happy hormones this much.he could not even remember when last he was this happy.

No matter how much he tried to stop smiling he just couldn't, which drew Cain's attention to him but he didn't care because he was sure Cain is not a dummy and he must have figured out that this was his doing.

Cain saw the evil smirk on his Boss's lips, he didn't need anyone to tell him that was his doing and anybody that looked at him at that moment would suspect something of him with the way he was looking at the both ladies and smiling foolishly.

So he had to first create a distraction to shift the chief executive of MSG entertainment Mr Edward out of the spot where they were standing as the tension was much and he was going to ask what the problem was in no time, Cain's eyes were looking all over the whole place to try find something to distract him with, when his eyes caught someone on the stage trying to speak with the microphone.

"what a perfect timing" he muttered to himself as he breathed out.

"Sir your attention is needed there"Cain announced to Mr Edward pointing at the stage for him to notice that.

"I will be back here Anna, I think something is wrong and I will be needing an explanation"he said staring at Avianna who was still standing at the same spot like an idol "and nice meeting you Mr Cauley we wish to see more of you" he directed it to Enzo before Leaving to go sit down at his supposed table.

Cain was a bit confused on what to do next, was this his Boss's clever idea that he hid so well for him not to find out?, was this all he got?, making the ladies meet then what?. Cain was losing his patience as everywhere was really getting awkward and tense. It was a kind of drawing some attention to them which was not necessary, before he heard Enzo speak up.

"Hmm….. I guess both of you already know each other?" He threw the question at nobody exactly as he wasn't even expecting an answer.

"Mrs queen I didn't...know ..that" Enzo was stammering trying to come up with something but was cut off by Avianna.

"Oh don't worry Mr Cauley this is nothing serious but if you would excuse your girlfriend and I we have a lot of catch-up to do" Avianna said as her eyes never left Christie's direction.

"Yea sure go ahead"Enzo replied as the both ladies walked out to find a more quiet place to talk.

Enzo had the urge to follow them and ear drop on their conversation because there was something more to this ten minutes of awkward silence that seemed like forever.

"That was a crazy plan Boss" Cain commented from behind where he was standing.

"Yea I know that '' Enzo admitted with a smirk as he checked the time on his wrist watch "time to go Cain I think i'm done here" he said as he walked away.

Cain wasn't surprised at his Boss's attitude he was such a jerk. Who causes a chaos and leave with out seeing the end of it? But Cain had know choice than to follow his order out.

Avianna just stood there staring at Christie as she was having flows of memory, the incident that happened years ago.

Was this Jason's plan all along? Bringing back his girlfriend here to haunt her with her past.

Avianna admitted that she made a lot of terrible mistakes back then which she regrets but they were no saints themselves they cheated on her too or doesn't that count as an offense?

Avianna had to excuse themselves from the gentlemen that she almost forgot was there with them. She made sure no one was trailing them , especially the reporters as she escorted Christie to the garden where it was quiet.

"What the f**k are you doing here Christie", she asked her immediately she shut the door behind them "we had a deal!, you promised me that you would disappear" Avianna bellowed at Christie trying her best to keep her emotions in check.

"Oh well, Anna I guess promises are meant to be broken" Christie declared "you owe me a whole lot and you no that, so I think is time for me to be paid back".

"What! I owe you nothing Christie you started this all you stabbed me in the back, you slept with Jason, he broke up with me because of you and you have the guts to tell me that I owe you?

"Oh Anna cut that shit he never loved you, you were just his toy, he was only playing you all those while you just refused to see the signs" Christie confessed.

"You are such a big lier Christie, you are making up things for me to feel bad but guess what babygirl am over it, so you can go to hell with Jason for all I care"

"Bravo Anna!, it seems like it skipped your mind why we made a deal or should I also remind you that you were the reason why I quit being a model? Do u want to talk about that Anna?, should we do a recap you selfish bitch!!. Christie shouted.

"Can you stop this Christie, why are you doing this to me? I know I made a lot of mistakes which I regret, I was desperate and anybody in my shoes would do what I did please…..

"You were desperate you say"? Christie blurted out "you had a choice Anna and you made it", so spell me the bullshit that you had no choice, people see you as the good and clean one here but you and I know that you are bitch and all your evil deeds I know of, I wonder what your fans will think of you once they get to know the real you. Christie smirked evilly at Avianna

"Christie why are you doing this?"Avianna asked her almost at the edge of breaking down

"we had a deal and you promised me that you won't return".

"Like I said before babygirl promises are meant to be broken" Christie said as she walked out on Avianna.
