Chapter 1: The 5 Primordial Laws
In the beginning, there lived an entity that was capable of everything… and yet nothing at the same time. Whether it be life, death, time, or even space… the entity could control it all.
Unfortunately, there was one thing it couldn't control… the Chaos that would ensue after using its powers. Even just taking a step would cause Chaos to spread, so all the entity could do was sit in one place… and just… watch.
After eons of nothing, the entity grew bored and decided that it would create a Miracle, even after knowing that Chaos would soon follow.
After much deliberation, it decided to use Space to create the very Universe we know of today. The entity then moved on and used life to create planets and living organisms on them. Unfortunately, Chaos followed, and in turn, created life spans for the creatures the entity created.
The entity fought back and saved some life forms from Chaos, but unfortunately, it had to live with the parts that were already consumed.
After these 2 powers were used the entity was forced to use death on many of the planets and had to add the law itself to the universe.
In the end, the entity added 5 laws to the universe just to keep it moving.
When the being was finished with its miracle the universe was at a standstill, the last piece the entity had to add, was time… but it had one more plan before that.
Creating a single planet bigger than all the rest, the entity appeared on the surface and just sat there. It sat there for only five minutes and after the five minutes, it smiled and split into 5 beings while speaking to them before vanishing.
"This world is meant for the 5 of you… my children… make it a world filled with many wonders." The being said in a low voice.
The primordial laws of Space, Time, Life, Death, and Chaos were born. When the laws finally grew conscious, they all had a purpose planted into their being… all of them, except for Chaos.
Life was tasked to uphold the lives of the universe, and those that will follow after. She was also told to continue creating new life… and was permitted to make them look however she wanted.
Her sister, Death, was tasked with the purpose of making life cease after their life span was met. Guiding them to the afterlife which their 'Father' made just for her.
Space was charged with the task of expanding the universe. His 'Father' knew this was a hard task so he left a little message… 'take your time and don't rush things… you have all the time in the world to get things right, just ask your sibling hahaha'.
Looking to his left he saw his brother, Time, who was just staring into nothingness with a shocked expression. He was charged with the hardest task out of everyone. All he was told, was 'To keep everything moving.' A task that Time didn't fully understand at this moment.
Lastly… there was Chaos. He had no purpose and was left with only a couple of words 'Create your own meaning.' Chaos grew angry at his 'Fathers' words, for he thought they sounded sarcastic. His siblings already despised him due to his nature of Chaos and how it had destroyed their 'Father' at every turn. So with no one to sympathize with him… he left, and set out to find his purpose.
After Eons of planning, Chaos finally went to where his siblings resided. They lived on the final world their 'Father' created, and acted as benevolent gods to the native people. Chaos despised the way they lived, but approached them anyway.
"Is that you Chaos!?!" Life screamed out while running towards him and hugging him with the strength of a black hole.
"Yes, *cough* but I'm not here formally… I have finally found my purpose." He said with the little strength he now possessed.
This made everyone's ears twitch, and they ultimately offered him a seat at the table they were sitting at.
"So what's your purpose?" Time said in a low voice.
"I will send this universe into ultimate Chaos… a universe where everyone will have to fight for every little power they obtain. This… is the purpose I was charged with." Chaos said with little remorse.
All the siblings stood up… all of them, except Time. All he did was nod his head slowly.
Noticing this the other siblings sat back down and contained themselves.
"There's nothing you can do now, I've already planted the seed of Chaos onto every planet you've created. Even the one we're currently standing on." Chaos said with his head down.
"You're kidding." Said Death in a low voice.
"I am not, and the only way to stop it is if you were to be absorbed into the universe as a whole, but I know you won't do it… you're too scared." Chaos said with a grin.
The siblings all looked at each other, and when they did all of them felt a tremble throughout the entire universe.
Chaos had finally sprouted. Planets were being destroyed and taken over by monsters and other deadly elements. Even the planet they were on was not safe.
Just as Chaos was about to say something, Space, Death, and Life all started laughing.
"Hahahah, you underestimate us brother… you know not of the resolve I have. To die for this universe would be my greatest pride." Space spoke with intensity.
"Likewise." Said Life and Death.
While Chaos was struck with confusion about his siblings' defiance, Time had a slight smile on his face.
"Time… I'm sorry to leave you alone, but as you can see it's not up to us anymore. I hope you can carry out our 'Fathers' wish till the end." Space said with a smile.
After Space finished speaking… the 3 primordial elements assimilated themselves into the universe. Leaving Chaos and Time alone by themselves.
"You saw what would happen in the future, didn't you? The moment I found out about it, all I could remember was your shocked expression when we were born." Said Chaos.
"I have seen it, but for you to also catch a glimpse of it, tells me you haven't spent your time alive sitting around doing nothing." Time responded.
"Well at first I sat around thinking of ways to get back at you guys, but in the end… I found a purpose which I had never expected." Chaos said softly.
"Well… what will you do now?" Time added.
"I will cease to exist… just like how 'Father' split himself into many different pieces, I too have done the same. In fact, every planet has a piece of me on it… so I'm spread a little thin, hahaha." Chaos said while cracking a joke.
"I see… since I'm unable to look into this future I will let it play out and see it with my own eyes. This is the first time in all of my existence I'll be able to bear witness to something I couldn't foresee." Time spoke with a smile on his face.
"I guess being a necessary evil makes me unreadable, hahaha." Chaos said while laughing.
"You're more like an anomaly to the whole universe, but yes… a necessary evil indeed." Time Chortled.
"Time, would you grant one request before I fade away?" Chaos almost cut him off while wearing a serious face.
"If I can grant it, I will listen." Time said.
"Wonderful, it would be nice if you could…"

"THAT'S THE END!?!?!?" Screamed a shaggy-looking man in a library.
"Shhhhhhhh!!!" Everyone shushed him in unison.
"Sorry." He responded softly.
'Why the hell is the rest of the book blank? It started off so good, but now all I get to stare at are blank white pages. Who wrote this novel?' Thought the man.
The cover looked interesting, it consisted of a world with 5 silhouettes holding it in the palm of their hand. Unfortunately, there was no name for the novel so the man couldn't look it up. He then flipped it over to see if there was a summary or maybe an Authors name on the back.
'What is this? Why is it blank, and the only thing on it is 'Time' in small print next to an hour glass!?'
"This stupid author." The man said while throwing the book on the ground.
After he did that, the hourglass on the back of the book grew larger and flipped over.
'What the! Is this some kind of CGI book… or maybe the cover is actually a projector or something? That's actually pretty cool.' Thought the man.
When the hourglass finished its cycle, both the man and the book disappeared like they were never even there.
