Chapter 6: Guests

"Woo." Jenny's eyes were wide as the Uber drove through the gates to the mansion. her eyes were wide, looking at just how big this place was. The Uber driver was also stunned, this was the first time he ever entered some rich guy's home like this. Jenny looked at the mansion and quickly noticed Alex who was standing on the third-floor balcony, looking at her with a faint smile.

Alex came down to greet her, and got there just in time as the Uber driver was leaving... but another car was also pulling in. Frowning as he didn't know who else was coming, he watched as the car parked, and out came Lisa and her parents.

They all had a stunned look seeing me and my mansion, meanwhile, I frowned. One of my new rules is self-respect. I had only invited Jenny, and they had just disrespected me by coming here without asking me.

"Jenny, how could you just leave like that without telling us where you're going?" Lisa's mother, Lana said angrily. leaving Jenny's speechless. She had told her parents she was heading out, but she didn't even notice them following her.

But in truth, they saw her testing Alex and when she left, they guessed she was coming over to see Alex so they followed... and what they saw was something they expected to see. Alex was stinking rich.

I looked at them, of course not believing them as I could tell they were most likely lying. but Lana's words gave her a sound reason to come, although I could force them away, I was sure they wouldn't leave without starting up too much trouble. the fact they entered meant that they managed to get past the guards at the gate, I had to give them my contact so they could always ask me when a new face popped up.

"Alex, I didn't know you had such a wonderful mansion... how could you keep this from me all this time," Lisa asked in a soft gentle voice. her voice being so soft and so gentle, this was new. but it was only there because she saw me with the mansion.

Jenny was awkward with all of this, she didn't tell her parents she was coming here as she didn't want stuff like this to happen. once Alex left, at first her grandmother was all sneering, but the second her husband called her to yell at her for the opportunity the family just lost, she yelled and cursed at Lisa and Lisa's parents to fix their mistake.

No one knew who Alex was but her husband and he was told to tell no one that or else face the wrath of someone they couldn't afford. even then, her grandmother had no idea who Alex was, but his background was scary which is why she lashed out at Lisa.

So of course, Lisa would follow Jenny here and try to fix her mistake. but Lisa wasn't stupid and knew just how nearly impossible this was going to be. on the way here, she didn't even drive and sat in the back seat with her mother, the two working on a plan to get Alex to marry her again.

"Sorry," Jenny said softly, to which I just shook my head softly.

"Well, I can only give you a small tour around the house before I have to leave to go meet family," I said calmly while looking at the time, in a few hours I was going to my uncle's place to train

"I thought you had no family?" Lisa asked while stepping forward, wanting to hold my arm, which I dodged.

"I have a large family... anyways this is my mansion. I will start a garden soon to liven up the place, and maybe build a few extra buildings soon. but for now, we have the basement." I said calmly while leading everyone downstairs. there they saw the large garage which was currently just missing cars. there were also other rooms, such as a storage room, a utility room, and a Mechanical room

we didn't take the stairs upstairs and instead took the elevator up. the first floor was where the porch was located. There, one could find a bedroom, bathroom, and an extra garage which was connected to the garage downstairs. this is where the cars pass through to go downstairs.

there was nothing too special about the first floor, the second floor was more interesting. On this floor, there was the kitchen, a beautiful kitchen which made Lana's eyes brighten seeing how beautiful the thing was. it also had so much space it left her reliving her past dream of being a chef before she lived with the Smith family.

there was also a private dining room which was the size of a normal size room. other than that was the main dining room which took up the second most space on this floor. coming first was the living room, which was just beautiful, having its huge flat-screen TV mounted on the wall, along with many expansive stuff. there were two balconies here, one connected to the kitchen and the other connected to the dining room.

the 3rd floor was home to the master bedroom and master bathroom. when they saw these, they were shocked to see the master bedroom which had two king-size beds. the room was large and even had its own small bar.

connected to the master bedroom was the master bathroom which had a huge bathtub which might as well be a small swimming pool. the master closet was also connected to the master bedroom,

The second bedroom could be found opposite the master bedroom. it of course had its own bathroom and closet. Oh, the swimming pool was connected to the master room. when I said this house was large, it wasn't a joke.

Upstairs, the last bedroom could be found. along with its bathroom and closet. but this floor had something the other floors didn't have. fun rooms. there was a gaming room where a computer and other gaming stuff were set up within their own room, Jenny's eyes almost glowed seeing the stuff her parents wouldn't allow her to buy all in one place.

there was the bar room. in this room, one would find a whole bar, along with a pool game, and many other stuff such as speakers. pretty much, this was a man cave. next to this room was the roof terrace room and the jacuzzi.

"well, thats everything," I said calmly... this was no fun for me. I wanted this to be a moment with the only friend I had, but shocker they had to come. Jenny through it all was walking on eggshells, not daring to do something her parents or mother would dislike.

"The house is cool and all... but I think we should leave. maybe we can stop by next time, and then we will have gifts." Lana said with a smile, catching Lisa and her husband off guard. but she didn't allow them to say anything and just pulled them away towards the elevator, where she went on to push the button for the first floor.

seeing this, Lisa was displeased, but Her father didn't allow her to speak. there was one thing he knew about his wife... and that was she was smart and quick on her feet. right now she took them out and left Jenny there, and she was saying nothing clearly on guard for a camera. it was only when they got back in the car Lisa was allowed to speak.

"what are you doing? I thought you were going to give me some alone time with him." Lisa said unhappily with her mother's actions. yet she was caught off guard as her mother slapped her across the face. even Lisa's father was caught off guard by this.

"You stupid... you're a fool. First, you go ahead and cheat on him, and now you expect that you can do something to fix your mistake. it was bad enough that you cheated, and even worse you can't see when someone has zero interest in you. all this time you were married to him, why did you push him away? the only friend he has now is Jenny." Lana said angrily,

"w-what are you saying?" Lisa asked with tears in her eyes.

"Jenny will get together with Alex, you destroyed the bridge, and now you're trying to rebuild it. You were too cold to the guy your future was dependent on, were you not thinking of anything that could go wrong? So arrogant and cocky, you never thought of what he could do after finding out you were cheating. so arrogant you thought he could never stand up to you, so arrogant you think you can just walk back to him. face the fact you lost, and start supporting your sister." She said angrily while Lisa only began to start crying.

"On that note, stop seeing James all together. I want you to start showing him how deeply you regret your actions, and just making him feel guilty." She said a sharp light flashing through her eyes.

"I can come over..." Lisa wanted to speak but her mother shut her up.

"Do you think we can pass through the gate again? Did you not see how he acted towards us? the fact he doesn't hate us is good enough, don't try and push it. after today, we will no longer be able to pass through the gate... how could you mess up this badly?" She said angrily, making Lisa just lower her head. She wanted to say that she had also treated Alex poorly along with everyone else, but after being hit for the first time, she couldn't say such things.

"So, what should we do?" Lana's husband, Luck asked softly.

"We act like we were fed false information about him. it's not like we've been around him that much, there is a higher chance of us fixing our past actions. we just have to play this smartly... the guy couldn't read a few years ago, adding his mental state... well, I say there is a 60 to 70% chance he would forgive us." She said coldly...

"Odd, they are leaving." Standing before a window, Alex watched the BMW drive away, he looked towards Jenny who also had a confused look.

"Did they come all this way to check up on me?" Jenny asked, but she shook her head. at times, she would stay in her room for days without seeing them and they never notice a thing.

"Who knows," I said while going on to call Clizby over and told him that those 3 were not allowed to pass through the gate unless I said so. As for why she left, I didn't care to think too much about it. On the other hand, I looked towards Jenny. with her parents away, she felt free, but she felt uneasy about what she wanted to say.

"You want to play on the computer?" I asked to which she nodded slightly,

"Okay, but I want to play as well. I only played on that playbox thing you have." I said softly, making Jenny laugh slightly. this left me confused

"You sound like an old man. It's a PlayStation and the other was called an Xbox. Come, although my back would break carrying someone as heavy as you, I'm a pro, so it will not be too bad." She said leaving me confused.

"I'm talking about gaming, I have no interest in getting on your back," I said speechless, Jenny went quiet as she looked at me. I just looked at her, not understanding if I said something stupid. I always get these looks when I say something stupid.

"sigh, you have a lot to learn. Carrying is pretty much what a pro gamer does to..." So she went on to explain while we headed toward the gaming room...
