Chapter 89: Dark spell (2)

"Well well well! And what do we have here? Having fun with a little dark magic, are we?" A teasing voice snickered within his mind.

A cold tremor ran through Winston Wildfern's spine as he heard this. Like a bucket of ice thrown on one's body.

He suddenly looked up, squinting his eyes, turning to look at the hall he was within and bellowed out. "Who is it? Show yourself now!"

The Rank 1 noble Warlock frowned in suspicion, squinting his eyes around the room. Seconds passed, and he found nobody apart from him in the hall.

Nevertheless, the Rank 1 warlock did not drop his guard. He quickly made a few hand gestures mumbling bizarre words under his breath. 

After a moment, he looked around confused as he found the formation within the room intact and unbreached. He had long sealed the room from the inside and had sent his family away today. He had also warned the servants and guards outside to keep away and not disturb him today at any cost.
