Michelle's pov
"Lets make our project."I said and they all sat down.
We all wore our lab coat and we started.
"I took sodium chloride and a string from the shelf in the laboratory
I dipped a string into a warm saturated solution with a crystal solute like salt.
We waited anxiously for it to cool off.
The particles in the solution aggregated around the surface of the string and a tiny seed crystal was seen.
"Done." I said.
"Done? You mean that's the end?" Alex asked looking confused staring at the solution.
"Yes. We just have to wait till tomorrow." I said feeling proud.
"It's so simple. You did well." Kate complimented.
I saw Daniella walking past the laboratory as Kate and Marco was praising me.
The bell rang and we left our project in the laboratory.
Daniella pov
I was walking past the laboratory when I saw Alex, Marco, Kate and the stupid Michelle sitting and laughing together.
"This gets me angry all the time and I promise I'll deal with her." I said to myself.
I went into the volleyball court and spilled garbage everywhere before all the students came in. Theresa caught me.
"What are you doing Daniella?You are going to get into trouble?" She said looking worried.
"Don't worry about me. When the coach comes here just say you saw Michelle doing this okay." I told her,well half threatening though.
"Okay fine."She said.
The bell rang and we both ran out of the court.
We came back few minutes later and we met the coach angry and other students looking surprised .
"Who did this? How did this happen?"The coach asked with clipping tongue
"Sir."
I said raising my hands
"I know who did this." I said clasping my hands under my bosoms.
"Who did this? " The coach asked again gritting his teeth.
"It was Michelle." I said pointing towards her.
"What?"She yelled and the other students started murmuring.
"Are you sure of what you are saying?" The coach asked me again.
"Yes sir. I saw her. I and Theresa saw her doing this a few minutes ago. I don't know why she did it though." I said winking at Michelle.
The coach turned to Michelle who was standing behind him.
"Did you really do this?" He asked Michelle.
"I didn't do this sir. I am serious." Michelle said trying to defend herself.
I watched this go on for some minutes until the coach passed the final judgment.
"You have to clean the court for three days without any help. Anyone who tries to help her will be kicked out of the team. Am I clear?" The coach said yelling.
He left the court and the other students follows too leaving I,Theresa, Susan Kate and Michelle
I walked up to Michelle.
"I told you I'll ruin your life. You can't outstrip me and think you'll get away with it." I said I run my fingers through her hair and she jerks my hand off.
"I am not outstripping anybody. I can here to study okay. And this,
She said pointing at the floor filled with dirt.
"It's easy for me to clean up so try again later." She said smiling and walking out.
She soon came back with a broom and started cleaning.
"Let's go girls." I commanded and Theresa and Susan followed me.
Michelle's pov
I started sweeping the court as Kate took another broom. She was about to help me when I stopped her.
"No, you can't do this. If you get caught you'll get kicked out of the team." I said and collected the broom.
The bell rings again
"You See, it's time for class. Go." I said to her.
"Will you be fine?"
"Yes I will okay. Now go to class so you'll explain whatever the teacher teaches you all.
Kate's pov
I dashed into the class and met Mr Armstrong. He is a very strict teacher and he doesn't take nonsense.
"You are late to my class." He said looking at me.
"I am so sorry sir i...
He cuts me off.
"I am not in for a cock and bull story. Just sit down." He commanded.
I took my seat and he started teaching.
Alex moves to Michelle's seat which is beside me.
"pfffttt." He calls me.
"What?" I whisper bending down.
"Where is the monkey?"
"She is in the court." I replied hastily trying to concentrate.
"Doesn't she know it's time for class?" He asks again.
"Well Daniella is at it again. She lied against Michelle and now the coach punished her.
"Oh." He said laughing softly.
He stands up and walks to Mr Armstrong.
"I need to use the bathroom." Alex asks.
"Sure." Mr Armstrong said.
Alex walks out of the class.
Alex pov
I walked straight to the volley ball court only to see Michelle dancing and singing to a song holding the broom stick tightly in her hands. it was a funny view.
"Hmm." I cleared my throat announcing my presence.
She turned back feeling shy.
"How many minutes have you been here?Why are you here? What are you doing here? She asks.
"Which of the questions do you want me to answer first?" I ask her back.
"All." She snapped at me.
"Well Kate told me everything." I said taking a broom lying on the floor.
"What are you trying to do?" She asks again.
"What does it look like? I am trying to sweet monkey." I said.
I started sweeping.
"This is not right you dumbo. You are scattering it."She yells
"Wait, let me teach you."She held me hand and positioned it backward then forward.
"That's how you do it. You take the broom backward then sweep forward." She explains.
"Okay." I said.
"It's so weird seeing you sweep." She commented.
We finished sweeping,then she went to take a mopping stick and a bucket and started mopping.
"Don't step on it. You'll make it dirty." She yells and I flinch.
"You scared me. Just because I stepped on the mopped area."
"Don't just step on. Ahhh
She was about to fall and I caught her by the waist.
"God she has such beautiful eyes. Those big brown eyes staring at me makes me feel happy in a way. Her nose, lips,they are perfectly shaped. She looks like a crystals. Rare,shining and beautiful. Her hair makes her more beautiful and appealing. My subconscious said.
I kept staring at her until the door opened. I released my grip on her waist and she falls on the floor.
"Ouch!!!" She screams holding her back.
It was kate and Marco.
"I knew it. Something was going on between you too." Marco said smiling.
"Are you crazy?"I said and walked out.
Daniella pov
I and my squad was sitting by the school garden.
"What I am going to do girl? I need to get rid of this Michelle. She is getting too close to my Alex. I said tilting my head backwards and forward.
"You said they were working on their project right?" Susan asks.
"Yes."
"Let's steal it or maybe destroy it. No let's make it look like an accident. She feels she is brilliant right. Let's make it look like the project exploded or she mixed a wrong chemical." Theresa explains.
"Wow! It's a nice idea. That's why you are my favorite. We will do it when school closes." I said
"Hey!" I called a random student.
"Go get me some ice cream." I commanded.
"Sure Daniella. Anything for you." The student said and came back in a jiffy bringing the ice cream.
"What's this? I yelled at her.
"It's ice cream Daniella." She said looking scared.
"I know it's ice cream." I said them spilled the ice cream on her uniform.
"I am sorry Daniella. I'll do anything to make it up to you." She said clasping her hands together pleading.
"Really."
"Yes. Really."
I look at Theresa the Susan.
"Come closer." I commanded her.
"You have to go to the senior's lab and destroy the project you see there. The one tagged with Alex name and if you get caught don't you dare mention my name okay." I explained to her.
"Okay Daniella, I'll do it but will you please let me join your squad. I love you girl." She said.
"Don't worry. Do as I say first." I said and left with my friends.
