Chapter 1: Chapter 1: The First Simulation

"Goburo, Goburo, wake up! It's time to eat."

Vaguely, Mark heard someone calling his name.

At the same time, his body was being violently shaken. He opened his eyes and saw a three-headed creature with a disproportionately large head, frail limbs, and green, oily skin standing before him. The surroundings were dimly lit as if they were in a cave.

Seeing this horrifying scene, Mark slowly closed his eyes.

"Hmm, I must still be dreaming. I dreamt that I turned into a goblin, and this creature in front of me can speak. And upon closer inspection, it does resemble a goblin. It called me Goburo. Could it be...?"

Mark thought to himself. He opened his eyes and looked down at his own hands, immediately noticing the thin, green arms similar to the creature before him.

"Did I dream of becoming a goblin? This dream is quite interesting."

"Goburo, wake up! Hurry up and come eat before there's nothing left," the goblin in front of him said, pulling his arm and urging him outside.

Mark felt a slight pain in his arm.

"Wait a minute? Pain? This dream feels too real. Could it be...?"

Goburo had a bad feeling and quickly pinched the thigh of the goblin in front of him, spinning it 360 degrees.

"Ah! Ah! Ah! Ah! Ah!"

The goblin in front of him let out a scream that sounded eerily real.

"The scream sounds so lifelike. It must not be a dream," Mark realized.

Although he appeared calm on the surface, his heart was in turmoil.

Is there anything more distressing than waking up and realizing you've become a goblin, surpassing the discomfort of turning into a girl?

Well, now he had it. He woke up as a goblin, and before, he had complained about his life not going well.

Now, he wasn't even human anymore.

"Considering the current situation, it seems like I've traveled to another world.

How strange.

Why can't I remember how I died before the transmigration?

I was an orphan. No one would have checked my phone browser.

I used incognito mode, so it should be fine.

I hope no one opened my computer with all my study materials," Mark pondered while imagining various scenarios.

Meanwhile, the goblin in front of him was getting angry and threw a punch at him.

However, Mark had previous experience in combat and had reached a professional level. He evaded the attack with a step back and then landed a right straight punch to the goblin's face.

"Bang!"

The punch sent the goblin flying, and as Gobra got up again, he looked at Gobro with fear.

Goburo had no intention of continuing the fight.

Instead, he asked, "What did you ask me to do earlier?"

Upon hearing Goburo's question, Gobra quickly replied, "I came to find you for dinner."

But his voice was filled with fear.

He was terrified by Goburo's earlier punch.

"Dinner, huh? All right, lead the way."

"Okay."

Then, Mark followed behind Gobra. The event had already taken place, and he could only accept it.

From today onwards, he was no longer Mark but Goburo, an ordinary goblin.

However, on second thought, since he had transmigrated, did he have any kind of system or similar abilities?

On the way, he tried calling out in his mind.

[System, are you there? If you are, show me the panel.]

The next second, a panel resembling a game interface appeared before him.

Seeing this panel, Goburo breathed a sigh of relief. Thankfully, he had a system.

Instantly, a glimmer of hope ignited in his eyes.

Having a system was a relief.

Otherwise, as a goblin, it would be incredibly difficult to survive.

When watching anime in his previous life, those high-level goblins looked pretty cool. He hoped he could quickly break free from this weak state and level up to become a high-level goblin.

As he walked, Goburo checked his attribute panel.

Name: Goburo

Race: Goblin

Template: Ordinary

Level: 1/20 (0%)

Vitality: 3

Strength: 3

Agility: 2

Spirit:

Charisma: 0

Skills: Critical Strike Lv. 1

Talents: Devour (a shared talent among all monsters, gaining experience by consuming the bodies of monsters or humans), Goblin Language (a humanoid monster talent for language)

Remaining simulation attempts: 1 (obtainable once per natural month, additional attempts can be obtained by consuming magic crystals, the number of attempts consumed varies with different levels, simulation attempts cannot be accumulated, and only one attempt can be possessed at a time)

The panel clearly showed that he was truly weak now.

As for the simulation attempts, he could roughly understand it, as he had read novels about simulations before.

However, since he was unsure of the state his body would be in during the simulation, he decided not to start the simulation rashly.

"Goburo, stop daydreaming and hurry up. Otherwise, all the meat will be gone," Gobura reminded cautiously.

Instead of responding to the goblin in front of him, Goburo said, "I need to take a shit. You go ahead and eat."

In the human world, such a statement would prompt criticism.

Who talks about taking a shit while having a meal?

But Goburo had heard that goblins weren't very intelligent, and he was afraid that they wouldn't understand the meaning if he said his stomach hurt.

So, he was straightforward in his response. However, the goblin's subsequent words left him shocked.

"What's so important about taking a shit? You can eat and shit at the same time. You can take a shit anywhere, but there's only one meal a day, and if you don't eat soon, it'll be gone."

Looking at the goblin in front of him with clear but foolish eyes, Goburo smirked and said, "I need to take a shit now. You go ahead."

"Oh, okay."

Seeing Gobra insisting on going to take a shit, Goburo didn't say anything further.

Gobra turned and left the place.

Once Gobura was gone, Goburo quickly returned to the cave where he had rested before.

Without any goblins around, it was probably safe to simulate here.

[System, begin the first life simulation.]

[The first life simulation has started.]

[In the first year, you are called Goburo. You are an ordinary goblin from a small goblin tribe on the outskirts of the Warcraft Forest.

Your leader is a troll.

Although he possesses great strength, he is lazy and relies on you goblins to do everything for him.

Your main tasks daily are hunting and raiding members of other races for mates.]

[As a modern person, your intelligence is much higher than that of other goblins.

You are well aware that no matter how hard you work, everyone will receive the same allocation in the end.

So, during each hunt, you always rush to the back of the team, and during meals, you always rush to the front.

Privately, you constantly practice and improve your skills.

Gradually, as you live longer, consume more monster meat, and become stronger bit by bit, most of the goblins who strive and work hard die during the hunting process, while the few who survive are severely injured.]
