It has been 8 years since the emergence of the "Gates" in the world. At first it was studied due to their strange appearance and the fact that they had some kind of timer on them was also a cause for them being studied. But when the timer hit zero various monsters appeared out of it destroying the places surrounding them and killing countless people.

The military of all the world mobilised in order to combat them and protect their nations. But they soon found out that their weapons were ineffective against the monsters for some reason. Seeing this the people were thinking that all hope was lost when several figures from all around the world appeared and defeated the monsters.

It was soon revealed that alongside the "Gates", "Doors" also appeared which after clearing, a person can get skills with which they will be able to fight against the monsters and destroy the "Gates." With the help of these special people which the world has dubbed as "Players" owing to their game like abilities, the world has managed to regain order as they destroy the Gates and protect the world. And the Players have become celebrities with Wealth, Fame and Power.

Among them is Michael Wilson, an 18 year old boy from the country of India in the state of Kerala. He managed to get a Door for himself and gained a skill which was unique to say the least. Now armed with a skill of his own, he strives to reach the same heights as the other great Players in the world as he wishes to protect the world and starts his ascension in the world!
