Chapter 246: I Like You

On his way to the cabin where Bella was staying, he dropped off the DNA samples at a forensic lab and then found a spot to change into his disguise before dropping by a bookstore to get drawing and painting materials for Bella.

After shopping for the items, he called Zach and told him he could leave before his arrival. Warning him not to let the Urchin know he was on his way.

He wanted her to feel lonely before he arrived so that she would appreciate his presence and effort more.

He had a wide smile on his face when he thought about spending the evening with her. He found himself praying that she was truly the princess.

Bella was seated in the living room long after Zach had left. She had been sleeping after her phone call with Dan when Zach knocked on her door to call her out.

Once she was out, he had told her he was leaving, and she had asked him if Dan was coming, but Zach had told her no.
