Chapter 18: I WANT TO SEE LIU WEI

The meeting between Wang Zheng and Liu Wei had been on a Friday, the weekend was passing quickly for both of them and Sunday was about to come to an end.

The first phase of Bloody Spring was finally over and the second was approaching and a feast would mark its beginning.

The queen spent all of her Saturday and Sunday stuck in her office embroiled in matters related to the country. While Liu Wei has set aside the two days to sleep and rest, she is not a busy person and does not have official business to attend to. Her days are a little tedious and boring.

The princess was ready for the feast.

This time she wore a long black skirt with a sexy side slit and a white blouse that left her shoulders and arms exposed. High heels completed her look, she was extremely elegant and pretty.

She felt in her heart that woman was her omega.

Liu Wei walked softly accompanied by Anna and her first act was to approach the queen and greet her.

"Good evening your majesty."

The queen watches with a look filled with tenderness as Liu Wei takes her hand and kisses it.

The young princess always looked so respectful and classy. She sighed in her heart.

The young omega's hair was in a beautiful bun with a few loose strands that gently fell over her face. The queen in a subtle movement removed one of the locks causing Liu Wei to smile beautifully.

"How was your weekend?"

Liu Wei always had a smile accompanied by a confident and commanding posture, the shy and awkward girl the queen met at that afternoon tea was no longer there... Good thing she wasn't, she liked seeing Liu Wei dragging glances and smiles like that.

Liu Wei watched the beautiful Yang Fan talking and laughing together with Li Zhang. She felt sour for a few seconds. "Li Zhang commented that you and Yang Fan are being talked about a lot as the kingdom's future couple."

The queen heard the young princess' comment and smiled in amusement. She was particularly fond of Liu Wei's jealous manner. "Oh really? And what do you think about this rumor?"

The young omega could hear the queen's funny tone and sighed. Was she being childish? He stared at her and was carried away by the sweet pineapple fragrance next to her. "I think I'm better than her."

The queen agreed. She really was so much better. "You truly are."

Liu Wei smiled shyly, feeling a little embarrassed at the queen's easy agreement. "Are you saying that to improve my mood?"

The queen smiled and walked over and touched the young omega's back briefly. "Would it work?"

"Maybe."

The queen was amused by the little princess's slightly childish manner. She had accepted it in her heart the moment she realized she was in love with a girl almost ten years younger than her. She would be patient and would do her best to understand it.

She didn't know who the girl was, she only knew that the young alpha was the heir to the throne of some other neighboring country… They talked so intimately that Wang Zheng couldn't control the sour feeling in her heart.

"Excuse me..." The queen desperately needed some alcohol.

She couldn't stand talking to Chen Fu and being jealous of Liu Wei sober.

With quick steps she looked for one of the waiters carrying glasses full of liquor and grabbed two for herself. The first glass she drank at once, which startled Huan Yang who was watching her a little far away, which made him approach immediately. Something was making the queen extremely dissatisfied.

"Something bothers the queen?"

"Can you tell me who is that alpha?"

"It's her first time in our palace, her name is Qui Mei, Princess of Shanyr Islands..."

"I see."

The queen feels a little angry.

Wang Zheng approaches his secretary and whispers in his ear, "Go quietly to Anna and tell her to let her know that I want to see Liu Wei. I'll be waiting in the same place where we talked at the last banquet."
