Chapter 7: Chapter : 6 The Night King's Frozen Citadel - A Monologue of Dominion

General PoV

In the heart of the desolate wilderness beyond the Wall, where the winds howled with an icy fury and the snow-covered expanse seemed endless, the Night King stood as a solitary figure. After The Battle of Dawn he marched towards the Land of Eternal Winter. His eyes, like shards of frozen eternity, scanned the bleak landscape. Here, amid the unforgiving cold, he envisioned a grand design—an icy fortress, a sanctuary forged with his own magic.

"I will need a domain of my own, a base of my operation for the next thousands of years to come. Once settled, I shall start my Plans for the Future, for which, presently I am too weak."

Setting his ambitions and mind, standing towering a immense piece of land in fron of him, in a valley in between mountains, with unending snow, and ice. On the west, the Bay of Ice and East having The Shivering Sea.

With an elegant sweep of his hand, the Night King summoned his Ice Magic. The very ground beneath him quaked in response, yielding to his command. From the earth, colossal columns of ice erupted, twisting and spiraling skyward. With meticulous precision, he molded these towering spires into walls, walls that would not merely protect but would declare his dominion over the frozen wastes.

'Ice Magic will forever be my greatest strength.' He introspected while construction of what might be a wonder of this world.

"Ice," he murmured, his voice an eerie echo in the cavernous chamber forming around him. "Ice is more than mere frozen water. It is the embodiment of purity, of deathly stillness. It is my dominion, my source of boundless power."He extended a hand, and the very air grew colder around him. Frost danced at his fingertips, a testament to his mastery over the element and maintaining his perfect concentration.

As the ice columns rose higher, they merged together, forming towering walls adorned with intricate ice sculptures. These sculptures depicted the history of the White Walkers, their ancient battles, and their icy dominion. The Night King's mastery over his powers allowed him to sculpt every detail with exquisite precision.

Within the walls of the structure, he crafted chambers of crystalline beauty. The ice sparkled with an otherworldly glow, and floors of frozen water reflected the ethereal light. These were no ordinary walls; they were infused with his dark magic, impervious to the feeble attempts of any who might challenge his authority.

As they continued to rise, merging and intertwining, the fortress took shape—a formidable structure that seemed to pulse with an unnatural energy.

"Ice magic," he continued, his words a sibilant whisper, "It is the core of my being, the instrument through which I shape this world to my will. For it's just something crude like Ice Manipulation, Ice Sculpting, which I am using now or something so advanced like Cryokinesis." His contemplation led him to envision new ways to improve his mastery of ice magic, to unlock its full potential.

"To further harness its might," he pondered, "Improvements," he mused, "I must seek out beings of arcane knowledge, ancient tomes of forbidden spells. They shall be the keys to unlocking the true potential of ice magic."

"I shall also delve deeper into its secrets. I must discover any of the ancient incantations, the hidden rituals that will amplify its power, the Children and their ancient tongue, I have heard for 2 millennia of confinement, they are the pathway to magic in this world and runes of rituals. Similar to the one which created me."

"There are also other alternative like Blood magic of Future Valyria and Asshai, previously I had no means of reaching such land, but with Water Magic, I haf overcome that weakness of Cannon Night King." His eyes glinted with a malevolent resolve as he envisioned a future where ice would bow to his every command and travel to those lands shrouded in Mystery.

"Imagine," he said, "An Ice Magic so potent that it could freeze the very oceans, cloak the sun in eternal shadow, and plunge the world into an unending night. A Cryokinesis, ability to Freeze anything. What about Freezing blood in the enemy's body, or something like Time. A world without death and time. Possibilities are endless for me."

The Night King's vision was not one of destruction alone, but of absolute control over the elements, a world where ice and he reigned supreme.

Within the structure, he crafted chambers of chilling grandeur. The floors, composed of frozen water, shimmered with an ethereal radiance, casting an eerie glow.

"In this World, Magic, encompassing everything, is pervasive. Everybody accesses it differently. In humans, they all possess magic in their soul, few have special bloodlines providing them different supernatural ability, a way of its utilisation, like in Starks and Targaryen. For being such as I, White walker, Children and Dragons of Valyria, we are itself born out of Magic. Magic comes naturally to us. For Dragon's Fire and For me Ice"

"Ice magic," he declared, "I shall develop it. It will be the foundation upon which I will  reshape this world, the instrument through which I bend the very laws of reality to my desires." As he continued to ponder the significance of ice magic, the Night King knew that he was embarked on a path toward unparalleled mastery and dominion. And complete the formation of his ICE CITADEL

But the Citadel was not just a work of art—it was a fortress designed to withstand any threat. The walls were imbued with protective enchantments in ancient tongue learned from Children, the same they used for summoning a shield against his attacks, and the icy structure would grow stronger with each passing day, drawing strength from the magic that permeated the land beyond the Wall.

"The Wall keeps the magic of land beyond the wall trapped here, like a greenhouse in my previous life, and sucking the magic from the rest of Westross to fuel itself. Thus the land beyond the wall will be the only magical land in Westross in a few thousand years." Night King understands the intricacies of Magic, at its raw and basis.

At the heart of the fortress, however, was his throne—a crystalline masterpiece that exuded an aura of dread and power. It was here that he would brood over his dark designs, his icy gaze betraying an intelligence that transcended the mortal realm.

Yet, the fortress was not merely a work of artistry or functionality; it was a manifestation of his might, a bastion of his dominion over ice and death. He had imbued it with protective enchantments, ensuring it would grow stronger with time, drawing strength from the land beyond the Wall itself.

As he surveyed his creation, the Night King's thoughts were a chilling symphony. The fortress symbolized more than mere physical power; it represented his unyielding will to reshape the world. It was a sanctuary from which he would command, plot, and unleash the eternal night he longed to bring to the realms of men.

"This is my dominion," he mused, his thoughts resonating with the haunting stillness of the North. "This fortress stands as a testament to my mastery over ice and death, a symbol of my reign, unchallenged and eternal."

He ascended his crystalline throne, mounting it, a sinister satisfaction creeping into his thoughts. "From here, I shall orchestrate the fall and rise of the realms of men, and the world shall bow before me. The Night King is no mere legend; I am the harbinger of an eternal night and "Embrace the Eternal Cold, for in Ice, We Reign."

The fortress, with its foreboding presence and eerie glow, seemed to resonate with his malevolent intent. It was not a place of warmth or comfort; it was a monument to his power and ambition, a fortress that would strike terror into the hearts of those who dared to oppose him.

'This world will soon be mine,' he thought, his resolve unshakeable as the ice that surrounded him. 'And this fortress, this frozen heart of darkness, shall be the epicenter of my dominion. All will tremble in the face of the Night King.'

With the citadel complete, the Night King had forged not only a fortress but an unassailable realm, a sanctuary where his dark plans would come to fruition. From here, he would unleash his relentless pursuit of an eternal winter, and nothing would stand in his way.

END.
