He held her shoulder "chaewon let it be, I'll go with dojin and ruyen to sizoo mountain, it's a twenty minutes journey, it's cold over there, hopefully we'll get some snow".
she sighed, giving up "be safe then"
He nodded as he quickly left with dojin and ruyen to sizoo mountain.
Forty minutes later, they came back with buckets full of snow and quickly started filling the bathtub, while Han yul was immersed in it.
" Now what" said lady chaewon.
"Now we'll have to wait and see. It's getting late and there are many people in the clinic waiting for me, so i'll come back tommorow as early as possible to see if we are making any progress" he turned to take his leave with his assistant.
"What if her temperature is back to normal? Can we take her out?"
He turned to lady chaewon " If you're really sure that it's normal, you can. Don't worry, I assure you that she'll be fine." He smiled and went out with his assistant
' is this a dream?, Or have I gone crazy?' thoughts ran through his mind. He practiced medicine for more than forty years, people called him from far away because of how skilled he was , but never has he seen such condition. 'Does that mean am still lacking something?'.
lanterns were hanged, which illuminated everywhere. The servants were all seated outside with a troubled face. Eunwoo was sitting by the right, a fat woman in her early forties. Next to her was min tae, twenty nine years old and neither slim nor fat. ji woon man in his thirties leaning, faced them. Sitting by the left is bonglu, he's forty six years old, fat and the oldest of them all. Next to him was wol, a slim girl in her twenties.
" Why am i so down?, I feel sorry for lady Han yul. Come to think of it, how can something like this happen"?" Said eunwoo.
Ji woon who was sitting in the middle looked at eunwoo with a serious face." I know what happened"
" oh my....you do?!!" said min tae.
" Don't just look at me, come closer if you want to know."
They quickly came close and sat down next to him. He turned around to see if there's anyone coming, upon no sign of anyone coming he began.
" It was on a day, a day like no other when..."
" Ashhh" min tae smirked "just go straight to the point, what is once upon a time?". They all nodded in accordance to what she said.
" Ok fine, look at it this way, lady Han yul and lady Yoona went to the market, lady Han yul marched a shamans leg and all of a sudden....."
" She will die!!!!!!" Said min tae with a scary voice.
" Ashhh, let me finish before you talk"
" Go on" wol said anxiously.
" All of a sudden, he laid a curse on her and....." He was suddenly hit by a fan on the head. He turned around to see dojin standing behind him.
" When will you stop spreading fake rumours?" Dojin said.
" Huh!! Who even invited you anyway?" Replied ji woon.
" What's going on there? You know I won't like it if I hear something silly afterwards." Came a voice behind them.
" Well, well if it's not the queen of eavesdropping, the one and only Ae yeon, oh am sorry did I just say queen?, I meant empress." Said min tae mockingly, as they all turned to see her.
She laughed pretentiously," you can call me anything you want to, but I kind of prefer the lady of the house" she said as she made a three hundred and sixty degree turn, showing off her dress and playing with a strand of her hair.
They all busted out with laughter.
" Are you dreaming? Lady my foot" said wol
" You're a servant, look at you , you are just twenty years old, you are the youngest" said ji woon
" Yet very mischievous. Just because young master picked you up on the Street, doesn't mean that he likes you, don't get your hopes up." Said wol
" What did you say" said Ae yeon furiously.
" Common let's go and sleep, it's getting late." Said wol. They all stood up heading to their lodgings.
"Where do you think you are all going? Answer me"
They laughed and ignored her.
" How dare you mock me?, Just wait and see, I'll deal with all of you when I become the lady of the house." She shouted.' should I have let them finish the conversation they were doing?, I also want to know what happened today, oh.....no, oh....no Ae yeon its non of your business, don't involve yourself with those losers. It's getting late, I need to sleep too.' she thought and went to her room.
** Hanseong empire**
**Hanseong palace**
Kang su is a maid in her twenties, one of the empress most trusted servants. She was wearing a green hanbok which was worn by all the middle ranking maids. She ran as quickly as she can, heading to the empress quaters. After nine minutes of non-stop running, she finally came to a stop at an entry which was blocked by some guards.
" Hey Kang su, are you alright?" Said the first guard.
" You look like you're out of breath said the other guard.
" Do I?" She said panting.
" Yes is someone chasing you?"
" No.....no is the empress inside?"
" Yes she...."
Before he could finish his sentence, she thanked them and went inside.
" huh!!, What's wrong with her?"
"Who knows."
She was standing in front of the empress Chambers. There were maids and eunuchs standing patiently by the door.
" I have a message for her majesty, quickly, announce my arrival" she said impatiently.
" Calm down" eunuch hua said as he cleared his throat. " Your majesty Kang su is here to see you."
" Let her in" came a faint voice from the room.
