" My name is Adam and I will guide you through your Awakening. " I can hear his words resounding in every corner of the lobby.
The chief is the only Ranker in our village, Adam is always there if any problem appears. He earned the respect of every person through his hard work and dedication towards the village.
He is 2 meters tall with long white hair, brown sharp eyes, and a big scar on his forehead. He is wearing a gold coat that covers every part of his body.
" First, let me show you what a Ranker can do. " He said seriously while gazing at us with a pair of sharp eyes.
" Fire Sword! " He looked at us while a sword made of fire was forming in front of him. The shape was identical to that of a real sword, the only difference is the fire particles moving inside it.
" The YRA is an energy that resides in all things but not everyone can use this energy. Only the ones that can awaken the slumbering Yra inside their bodies can use this magical energy. " The power of a Yra user is so unique and incredible, I never saw something like this in my entire life.
" There are two types of Rankers in the world:
The normal Rankers who can control their Yra to strengthen their bodies and with special techniques they can project their Yra outwards.
And the special Rankers who have a unique category of Yra. " His words echoed in my mind.
" Today I will test you to see if you can awaken your Yra! " He looked at us with hope while taking a strange crystal from his pouch.
" Everyone will come here one by one and touch this crystal. " The crystal was blue with strange symbols on it.
" Your head will hurt a little bit, if you have a special category of Yra it will take form on the crystal and you will receive some memories about it. " The first person to go was the closest but before he could touch the crystal Adam warned him.
" Aaaaaaah! " The sound of his scream reverberated in the area while his hand left the crystal.
" Next !" The kids keep going one after another to the crystal but no one was successful.
The sound of the tears falling on the ground is the only sound that could be heard. This is a great opportunity for our future.
" Marco is going to try! "
" The chief's son is about to try! "
Everyone's attention is on the white-haired kid who is walking towards Adam. He has a bulky physique with a tight uniform and a big sword on his back.
When his hand touched the crystal something finally happens. The crystal is releasing some flames but the strange thing is that Marco's hand is totally fine. The flames didn't damage his hand the slightest.
" Marco succeed! "
" Amazing! "
Everyone is cheering because our village finally has another Ranker. Adam's straight face finally melted when he saw his son's result.
" Next!" I headed towards Adam and every step I took made my heart beat faster. I feel everyone's eyes on me.
" You can touch the crystal now. " Adam's voice is the last thing that I heard before my head began to hurt. I feel like a thousand needles penetrate my head but this didn't stop me from keeping my hand on the crystal.
Something started changing inside me, a strong energy is slowly awakening inside my body. I can feel this energy moving in every part of my body and wherever it goes it alters it.
My body has gotten smaller but more defined and I feel like I have the strength of five men. I feel a type of energy around me that I couldn't feel before but something is strange, deep inside of me there is a unique power. It's something more powerful and every time I try to feel what it is, it's like my conception of time changes.
Suddenly lots of information started popping up inside my head.
" Good! " Adam said as he watched the crystal shining with light.
" You've awoken the Yra inside of you. "Adam's face is full of happiness but I feel like a big boulder is on my shoulders right now. Everyone is going to have high expectations of me.
" Do you feel any kind of power inside of you? " He said curiously while inspecting my face for any clue.
" No Sir! " I said with respect.
I can't show my power to others it's too dangerous because I have the power of Time!
