Chapter 1: Prolgue: THIEF!!
The general stared in horror as a small black figure moved across secure grounds like it owned them. As he watched the general felt a chill go up his spine, as the figure looked at the camera. He realized that he will fail and if he fails so does the world. Reasons? Simple, Aliens are real, and their coming. A message fell to earth recently saying,
Hello Earthlings – "We come in peace… haha who are we kidding you will all become slaves. Unless you can prove your races survival ability's, to prove it: either build a permanent home in space or become the sole nation or people on earth."
The scientists have checked the methods and say it is impossible to live forever in space. That also means without supply runs. However private companies still try. Though there is only one thing left which is the device that the Aliens left behind, a disc that could destroy all opponents or become a builder, with everyone after it the choice was taken out of our hands and war was inevitable. Now though this person has gone through all our defenses
That is the reason and fear in general walker's heart. He knows that if he fails the USA will lose the war. He calls out to his second in command, "enter critical state red, also contact the closest bases for reinforcements. And prep the artifact for transport."
SC responds, "yes sir". "Attention all Military and civilians this is a Critical State Red, Prepare for evacuation and defense. Reinforcements are on their way."
"General Walker I have sent a warning through the base, I think we should personally transport the artifact for safety?"
"Negative SC have faith in our elites to transport it well."
"Understood sir."
The general looks back at the screen. And sees the figure heading in a straight line towards the electricity panel. His eyes widen as he realizes what's about to happen. Right as the figure grabs the lever and pulls down, which then shuts down all power, and the backup generator takes ten minutes to turn on. All the backup batteries were on the other side of the lever.
"TURN THE LIGHTS ON!!" "On it General!" replies SC. It will take about 9 and a half minutes for the back up generators to turn on!
Ten minutes later and the generator kicks in. The cameras start working, we start looking for the figure and we can't find him.
"GENERAL!!! The transport its gone, so is the artifact!" SC screams.
"Well obviously, we told them to evacuate?" Walker responded.
"But sir, the elites are still there just unconscious!"
"WHAT! CONTACT THE REINFORCEMENTS AND TELL THEM TO FOLLOW THE TRNASPORT AND BLOW IT UP!"
SC coughs, "um sir the reinforcements have orders to come directly here and clear the base then pick up the artifact."
General Walker slams his head on the desk. And says, "which we obviously don't have." Then mumbles "I'm so dead".
