Chapter 3: Tomas Diary
As I pick up the sword I get a better view of it, earlier because of the dim cave,
it was impossible to see it in detail. Now that I can have a good look at it I'm left stupefied. The short sword's condition is tragic as Tomas death, it can hardly be called a sword it's so rusted and damaged.
"This short sword is so wasted that I'm amazed as how it could stay unbroken as I was blocking with my dagger." Something in this condition can't be sold.
I think even if people walk down a road and see this blade they will walk away without even picking it up.
Throwing the useless weapon to the side, I sit down to catch a breather. I take a few deep breaths then one more look around me just in case, being careful is never hurtful. As there's no one besides me and the dead Tomas. I can finally let my guard down and I start to check my strained body. The haste potion is really something, it helps greatly at short term but it gives quite a toll to the body after the effects worn off, if I had slack on my training I probably be like Tomas was when fighting me, trying to catch a breather in mid-fight only to end up dead.
"Well a higher quality haste potion cost 5 silver coins but your speed will be ten times the normal and it last one whole hour."
"Sigh"
Well I know I might never have a chance to use it or even buy it as my income
is as tight as it can get, but I can still fantasies!
"Enough of that, Let's see what I got" I say as I get ready to examing the things I got.
First I open the diary that Tomas had in his robes. Going though it there's nothing but cursing this and cursing that and showing his immense ego in words and self praises. I skip most of the pages I finaly find something that caught my interest and it says:
"I've found a relic but those FOOLS of the Relic's Guild gave me a hard time when I asked for a investment. I know you gave me my allowance but I need MORE! FOOLS will never understand my GENIUS intuition NEVER!!!
Who cares if the relics I have brought in the past were worthless at least I bring something not like those FOOLS who bring a relic ones every two or three months saying that they were 'researching and learning from the past ancestors. FOOLS! I say FOOLS! Who cares about the past what is important is the present the future isn't that what the Relic's Guild is all about?!

"After being denied of an investment by those FOOLS, I come up with a genius plan and managed to sneak in the inner chambers of the Guild. After getting my worthy investment I sneak away and no one even notice . FOOLS My genius is unpresendented. Y'all be thankful to me later and will beg for my forgiveness as well as ask for my tutulege and I will say No!"

"I gave the adventurer the money he ask for, and he gave me the case that has the relic I so much desire. FOOL! you smile now but you just wait, ones it comes to light that what you sold me for a couple of gold coins is priceless you will go ask your mother to reborn you again hahahaha. I finally have the relic in my hands. Know I will unfold it's secrets!"

"Shit ...Why,why,why?! This nakelace clearly is a relic but why does it not posses any mana signiture it doesn't even react when infused with mana. Did the adventurer deceive me. NO!! That's impossible I could not be wrong.
I'm a unparalleled Genius! When I saw it I knew this was the relic that will show the world my GREATNESS! I WILL NOT GIVE UP! NEVER!
I will try some other approaches and defeat this obstacle that stands before me!

"I did it! I finally did it! I awaken the relic! I have surpassed everyone in existence! Hahahaha from this moment one the world will know me as
Tomas The Supreme Genius! Hahahaha take that FOOLS OF THE WORLD!
To awaken the relic all I needed was a drop of my own blood and there! The relic that will show the world my GREATNESS awakens! It has Awaken! Hahahaha!"
... "Let's skip some insane ego talk"
"Let's skip this page of the diary...and this one..and this one too....and here it is something important" Tomas diary amazes me as it annoys me, it continues:
"My relic has the ability to make the welder invisible! Yes!
INViSIBLE! Hahahah truly great this will make those FOOLS AND MORONS AND SONS OF @&#@ SHUT THERE MOUTHS! Hahaha it doesn't even tire the weilder's body and it doesn't drain Mana either truly a worthy relic that shows my GREATNESS! If I have to say the bad points of it is that it only turns the body of the weilder invisible nothing more...but still Amazing!!!"
"Ohhhh so that's why your naked Tomas?! Now I get it!"
I say as I look at the naked Tomas. Continuing to read the diary while skipping the worthless pages and finally reach the last one:
"In all my years I will never would have imagined that the Guild NO! Not the Guild! The FOOLS those same FOOLS that refuse my investment would put a bouty for my Head! My Genius Head! Do they think my brain is made out of cow poop it is not! I will go to the main branch office and show the fruits of my work then someone with a better brain inside there head will see my GREATNESS!
