Chapter 2: Chapter 2:
That night, while everyone slept. Chase could not. He keeps tossing and turning. Finally, he gave up and went on a walk only to spot a strange pup sitting in the yard, watching the sea glitter like sparkles. "Who are you?", ask Chase. He didn't trust much people nowadays. Anyone could be a shapeshifter demon. One demon killed most of the Paw Patrol in one night. This was why he kept his powers secret from the others.
"It's been a long time, Chase", said the strange pup. He finally realized who the strange pup was. It was Luke. Luke was an angel of God. The two had become close when they fought to defeat the devil himself. "Why are you back here?", ask Chase as he sat next to him.
"I understand your pain, Chase", said Luke. "How it hurts, but you know what must be done". Chase didn't say anything. He knew it too, but the thought of exposing his true self shook him to the core. "I'm scared, about everything", said Chase, who begin to sob. "About protecting the family, I love!". Luke put his paw on Chase's shoulder. "You have the courage to do so, how do you think you kill the devil?", ask Luke. Chase flash back to the battle. He fought on pure rage, but he also had the bravery to win. "I have to go", said Luke, "But you know what to do". He disappeared without a trace, leaving no sign of him beginning there. Chase got up; he knew what to do.
