Chapter 10: Charter 10: The Battle of Suben (II)
----World POV----
The blade of Charles began too light up again and Beornfred realized what the hero wanted to do.
He knew it was a vain hope, but Beornfred still wanted to safe his wife. So as the ray of light left the sword, he threw himself in its way.
The light hit him in the head and Beornfred's end came at an instant.
Hertha let out a cry of absolute Terror but met her own end shortly after her husband.
"Now lets find the rest of this vermin and cleanse the earth of their existence!"
The soldiers that were left cheered him on as they set the clan's hall on fire.
----Lilith POV----
"I will make you pay human"
As I said that, I kept looking at Luana. One part of my mind told me that it was over, but I didn't want to believe it. I needed to hurry so I could safe her.
"Fenrir now!"
My warg ran up to the human and jumped at him, as he dodged to the side I summoned an icicle and threw it at him. As he got hit in the shoulder he quickly rolled to the side and stood up again, only to then launch another offensive against me. This time I chose to dodge to the Side and follow up on his attack.
But the human anticipated what I would do and swung his sword vertical. His blade slashed through my stomach and I cried in pain.
But as this happened, Fenrir took the opportunity and threw himself onto the back of the enemy, slashing him with his claws and biting into his Neck.
*We beat him...Luana stay with me...*
But she was already dead, having bled out.
It took me all my strength to crawl over to her side, all the while tears kept flowing down my cheeks. The body of my brother lay in the Riverbed so I assumed that the mass of blood, that Luana kept looking at, Loti's remains were.
*Why did this happen?...why is it always humans ruining my life?*
The wound on my stomach kept bleeding, I couldn't stay here when I wanted to survive. Fenrir understood that I needed him, so he ran over to me and I crawled on his back.
*Pull yourself together, if I lose myself now I will surely die!*
I just wanted to lay down and cry my heart out, but I needed to survive, survive and get back to Mum and Dad.
"We need to get some plants and spider webs, so I can bandage my wound, quick Fenrir into the forest!"
----World POV----
As the imperial soldiers left Suben, they've set everything on fire. The burning village could be seen for kilometers and even the calls for help were still heard, even after no one was left alive. The ghosts of the fallen would surely hunt this forest for all eternity.
A few kilometers away one could see a demon girl, laying on the back of a huge warg, running though the forest, then halting to gather something. You could then see her bandage her opened stomach while screaming in pain, even the unnatural healing rate of a higher demon couldn't cover this much of a wound in just some minutes.
She must have seen the red light coming from Suben, because she quickly got back on her warg and rode in it's direction.
But the huge blood loss was to much and, after some time, she fell from her warg and lost consciousness.
She entered a dreamlike state, and woke up in total darkness, with 2 entity's standing in front of her.
"Who are you?"
"It doesn't matter anymore...we are already gone from this world..."
"And why am I here? What is this place?"
"This is your subconscious, and you are here, because we can't talk to you otherwise."
The entities spoke in total unison, one male and one female sounding voice. They had no eyes, no hair and their skin was as pale as pure snow. One could only guess what they might've looked like when they were still alive.
"You want to talk to me?"
"Yes...we want you to know, that we always loved you, and we beg you to leave this place. To live on, and not throw your life away. Please our dear princess...Survive!"
Lilith began to cry as she heard that, she knew full well what that meant. Her parents were dead and this was their last dying breath. She didn't know what she should do now. Her brother, dead, her best friends, dead and now her parents too. Was this what was meant to happen or was it some sick joke from a god that hated her.
In this realm of darkness, after thinking about all that had happened in her two lives, she made a decision.
*I will murder everyone that stands in my way, and i will begin with the ones that attacked us. As soon as i know who it was, they will be dead!*
And after saying her tearful goodbyes to her parents, the girl woke up again, rising with a newfound determination, one that she will never let go of until the Day she dies.

Erik_von_Lancaster I am sorry that this chapter is shorter, and I have the feeling that my writing is getting worse
The next 2 days will be without a release because of my work, but I will write this whole weekend so I have enough chapters for next week
