CHEN MANSION
"Ding,
Ding
Ding"
Chen Lihua grumpily got up from her bed and well she didn't have a choice but to get up when her mother had the alarm put in danger mode. She stood up and switched off the alarm clock then glared at it, poor clock it was just doing its job.
She went downstairs and began shouting from the stairs
"Where is my coffee ?"
"Someone go prepare my bath"
"Somebody should go and arrange my room as well"
"You go tell the driver to get my red porsche ready"
"Someone go clean up my wardrobe, its dirty"
"Breakfast mom" Chen Lihua barked orders on getting down
Bai Zhi brought a plate of breakfast in front of her and said to her daughter
"I thought you would be sleeping through danger mode"
"No human on earth can sleep through danger mode", Chen Lihua replied while stuffing food in her mouth
"You didn't even brush Lihua, and look at your hair it looks like a bird nest" Bai Zhi said deadpanned
She could never understand why her daughter was so lazy and dirty
"Forget it mom I am done eating", Chen Lihua said and ran to her room to get ready before her mom nagged her to death.
This was usually how their mornings started, Chen Lihua grumbling about having to wake up early and Bai Zhi nagging her about her habits
"Whatever" Bai Zhi said and went to her bedroom to get ready too.
A few minutes later she came out and saw the driver standing beside her daughter's red Porsche
"Why the Porsche, Mr Chu" Bai Zhi asked her driver
"Young Miss had told me to get the Porsche ready, Madam" the driver Mr Chu replied.
"Chen Lihua", Bai Zhi shouted
"What is it mom" Lihua replied coming outside of the house
"Why the Porsche Lihua we are going to the office not for a race" Bai Zhi yelled at her daughter annoyed
"I feel like taking the Porsche Mom and no arguments", Lihua replied and collected the car keys from the driver
"Then you go alone I will go in another car, but I better not get there before you" Bai Zhi warned and glared at her daughter
"Get the SUV ready Mr Chu", she said turning to her driver
"Suit yourself" Chen Lihua said and drove off
"Good morning, CEO Bai" the Secretary sitting in front of Bai Zhi's office greeted her
"Is Lihua here yet", Bai Zhi asked her Secretary, Mian
"No ma'am she isn't" Mian replied
"What, she isn't here yet, she left the house before I did and she even left in a Porsche, she was meant to get here before me" Bai Zhi said rubbing her temples
"Why is this girl so troublesome"
"You know what Mian, you go prepare for the morning meeting, we will start in thirty minutes she should be here by then", Bai Zhi said
"Sure ma'am" Mian said and Bai Zhi entered her office.
She took out her phone from her bag and called Chen Lihua but she wouldn't pick up even after the third time.
"Where could she have gone", Bai Zhi said sitting on her chair, she dropped her phone on the table and opened her computer and began working
A few minutes later she heard a knock on the door
"Come in" she replied,
"Ma'am, the employees are in the meeting room already, the meeting should start now" Mian informed
"Okay, but is Chen Lihua in her office yet", Bai Zhi asked her secretary
"No ma'am she isn't", Mian replied,
"She is the main manager ma'am should we start without her" Mian asked
"Yes Mian we have to start I don't know where she went or when she will be coming back we can't keep on waiting for her" Bai Zhi said
"Okay Ma'am", Mian said and left.
Bai Zhi picked up her phone and called her daughter again, but Chen Lihua wouldn't pick up no matter how many times the phone rang.
Bai Zhi stood up and left for the meeting after sending Chen Lihua a message.
"Good morning CEO Bai" the employees greeted once Bai Zhi entered the conference hall.
"Morning everyone, let's begin", she said and took a seat at the end of the table.
The meeting lasted for an hour and Bai Zhi went to her office with her secretary following behind her.
"She is still not here right", she asked Mian
"No ma'am", she is not", Mian replied.
"Bring me the important documents I have to sign" she said sitting on her chair
"Are there any scandals with our artists presently" she asked her secretary
"Yes ma, our top Model Li Yumi was spotted by the paparazzi in a motel two days ago"
"A Motel" Bai Zhi exclaimed
"Yes ma", "but the PR is already handling it and Yumi's Manager said Li Yumi had gotten there by mistake"
"We already asked her to explain what happened to her fans through Weibo, and for now the issue is under control".
"Alright, what about the debut of the new Girl band 'CAMELLIA'"
"We are making arrangements for their debut ma'am, they will be having their first public appearance at this year's edition of New talents" Mian said
"Alright then, please ask their Manager to handle it well, what off the Newbie actresses" Bai Zhi asked
"They are kicking of well ma'am, for now only two of the actresses have gotten lead roles, the other three have supporting roles, but all the films they all acted in are hits" Mian said.
"Alright, you can bring in the documents, I will leave immediately after signing them", Bai Zhi said.
"Alright Ma'am", Mian said and left her office.
A few minutes later, she brought in the documents, once Bai Zhi was done reviewing and signing them she left the office and went back home.
"Butler Ming", Bai Zhi shouted on entering the house,
"Yes Madam, welcome", the middle aged woman answered coming out of the kitchen
"Is Lihua back yet",
"Yes Ma'am, she came back a few minutes ago" Butler Ming replied
"Where is she", Bai Zhi said getting angrier,
"Where did that girl go and she didn't go back to the office when she was done but instead came home, how preposterous".
"She is in her room", Butler Ming quickly answered seeing how angry her madam was.
Bai Zhi gave her bag to the butler and ran up the stairs to Chen Lihua's room,
"CHEN LIHUA", Bai Zhi yelled and stormed into her daughter's bedroom
"Mo..m", Chen Lihua stammered on seeing her mother's angry face
"Where were you the whole day, you left the house saying you were going to the office, where did you go then" Bai Zhi asked in a high pitched voice.
"Mom, I was really on my way to the office when I received Mo Ting's call. He told me that Xie Yurin fell of the stairs at her house and that she was in the hospital"
"I had to go see her mom", Chen Lihua said
"Did you skip the office because of those two friends of yours, what kind of an attitude is that. I am handling over the company over to you in a week. Will you ignore important matters like this in the future too".
"Calm down mom, I only went because I knew there wasn't anything important to attend to at the office"
"Uhn....are you trying to drive me mad right now. They called you so suddenly and you just ran there and I bet they made you pay the hospital bills as well" Bai Shi said and Chen Lihua nodded.
"Mo Ting didnt have his wallet with him so I had to pay" Chen Lihua added
"Those two are just using you Lihua, when will you see it", Bai Zhi said hitting her forehead
"Mom those two once saved my life, why do you keep on forgetting that", Chen Lihua said
"And you are going to use your whole life to repay them for it. You are cruel to everybody but those two opportunist, Is that just how indebted you are to them",
"What is he even doing in her house so early in the morning. Isn't he your boyfriend" Bai Zhi asked her daughter
"He went to pick her up for the office mom, stop asking so many questions am tired", Chen Lihua said.
"I am hoping Lihua that by the time you realize those two have just been using you, Its not too late already. I hope so", Bai Zhi said and walked out of the room.
"So naggy", Chen Lihua snorted and went to shower.
