Chapter 9: A Riddling Break
"Now then, who's going to explain the rest."
I opened my eyes and saw a figure glistening brightly afront my eyes standing tall with scorching deep eyes and hair like yellow daffodils blooming on the arrival of spring
Tsuki sighed and started walking inside the city gates as the man behind her starts boiling up by her ignorance, "You really don't leave a chance to show off, do you?" Tsuki said as we went inside with the entity
The figure starts glaring at me as we went by "You don't look like someone from around here."
I instantly started panting inside as he released an immense amount of aura at once as he stared daggers at me worse than Clawz
"Um.. My name is Haruka, I came from planet Earth from I don't know what universe and was assigned to a commission made by Lord Tensén" I chuckled nervously as he kept his eyes on me
Everyone walking besides us started staring at us if we did something really bad or were some bad omen about to destroy the whole planet in bits
I look back at the guy as he glares onto me from behind "Say, what's your rank."
"Enough to destroy this universe into atoms." the man smirked while looking down at me
Tsuki silences the man and we head to a pub down the road to talk to the man following us for the past 30 minutes
We all sit down on the chairs while everyone's in a dull mood as the man suppresses his aura to not look suspicious
Nice timing.. The guy really suppressed his aura after we reached all the way here, he really knows how to keep secrecy, I thought as I chuckled while looking at him
"What happened outside Planet : Hushong." the man said while looking directly back at me
Tsuki snapped her fingers to get his attention towards her "Firstly, stop glaring at him. He didn't do anything to me nor broke any rules, Although we don't have any other eye witnesses, I can assure you it was the Monarch of Void whom attacked us while we traversed through the Parallel Plex dimension"
"Ofcourse it's the Monarch of Void. We can't do anything about him or his Tutor, but this Haruka Kid. Don't tell me he's the vessel of that maniac."
the man says while looking at me again with a cautious face looking as if he wants to punch me right now
I gave off a slight nervous smile as I thought to myself, Maybe it's best for me to leave right now..
"Well by the looks of the drake-like skull he's wearing you should already be able to tell who he is by now. Well, we will now be leaving to the next universe now as it'll take us around 8 hours to reach the next Parallel Plex stop on the other side, Cosmos" Tsuki yawned as she got up
I immediately got up hurriedly and suddenly asked "The group were commissioned to finish, Okatsuchi. I know they're trying to disturb the Balance of Euthomiya, but why are they even doing that in the first place. Why is the Monarch of Void after us if he's not from the group. Why is that group formed in the first place??"
"Your not wrong, even I'm confused on why that group was even formed too. As, if you disturb the Balance of Euthomiya, which is sealed inside a cube in the last Universe near Deaths Dome, you would just end up unleashing every God's true power which was sealed a long time ago by The Creator, basically if the cube breaks my powers would be increased by approximately a 100x, I would love to attain such power but that'd be havoc if everyone had enough power to destroy the whole supercluster in minutes." Tsuki sighed and started walking outside to the door as Clawz got up silently after her too
"Your fighting the Okatsuchi now??? Lord Tensén told me you were just training some lousy short-tempered kid. You do know their power level is way beyond yours or any one of you here, right?" the man banged his hand on the table in anger as Tsuki just ignores him and walks out
The man grabs onto my shoulder and hands over a piece of cloth which he tells me to wrap around my right upper arm "Listen, if my sister gets in any trouble, just tear apart that thing. If you don't, I will throw you onto the biggest star and watch you burn to crisp." the man glares at me and disappears in thin air infront of my eyes
"What even is happening. So many questions. Ugh, this just hurts my head I should just catch up to them quickly." I said and ran towards them as we continued walking down the road while chattering on about what place to stay at for tonight
"Everything's going as planned it seems like, Salazar." a faint voice could be heard along the corridors in the dull room watching over Universe : 400 with a smile
"Can't wait to get this started."
