Chapter 1: PROLOGUE
My name is Renz Tolentino. Today is my wedding day! I am very happy because I will marry the girl that I love. The love that I never thought would be possible, but all thanks to my best friend Mico Kzer Legaspi.
He has been my best friend since Senior High School. I was a transferee to their school that time. I was very nervous but because of him, all the tensions with in me goes away.
It is the same nervousness I feel right now. I am standing here in the altar of the church fixing my bow tie from time to time. I am anxious, and I don't know why I feel this. My wedding will start in few minutes. Aside from my Bride, my Best Man (Mico) is not still here.
From nowhere, an unknown guy in hoodie handed me a small violet envelope. My hands are shaking while staring at this thing. Something is wrong here!
With courage, I opened the envelope. There is a written letter inside.
Renz,
Sorry if I can't make it to your wedding.
I should be happy sharing moments with your big day today but I can't fool myself anymore. I love you more than just a best friend. And it really hurts to see that you're about to marry someone. I can't stand the fact that I am your Best Man. All I want is to be your Bride.
