Chapter 31: The Emperor Secret Agents
- The Emperor Mountain -
Right after Damian Shen and his beloved wife escaped the enemies, Dane and Willis were fighting using their life as an exchange...
Marshal Lang was hiding because of his hand injury, and since he couldn't fire with his left hand.
The remainder of his soldiers had cowardly deserted the army and that was when he saw the legendary agents...
When the secret agents were within their view, Dane was throwing one bomb at them. But before the bomb exploded the four agents in the frontline were flying out from their horse.
"Boom!!"
The bomb was a waste...
The emperor secret agents were as formidable and unfathomable as their legendary feats.
Even the horses were unhurt because of their special shield, made from meteor stones, thus its was the strongest impenetrable material out from this world.
Then the four flying agents descended like immortal and headed toward them without any weapon.
Willis firing one round of ammunition at them but agilely they escaped the bullets with some kinds of weird Tai Chi motions.
Then one of the agents was using secret poison needles and shot 100 of them toward their bodies...
Willis was standing tall in front of Dane facing the poison needles without fear and using his big body to cover him, but still, a couple of needles escaped his body and went through on both of Dane's arms.
"Arghhh!!!" Both Willis and Dane were screaming simultaneously in agony when the poison entered their body system. Instantly, they passed out cold...
"Rest in peace, Marshal Shen men!!! It was your bad luck to met me today!!", said Lone Wolf, the man who was shooting the secret poison weapon from under his military sleeve.
With satisfaction, Lone Wolf smiled when he saw them in an unconscious state, without an antidote they would die in about one hour and no one in this world could concoct the remedy beside himself.
Meanwhile, the rest of his agents which was just for show - they didn't have qigong or martial skills - were helping Marshal Lang with his wound and making tents for them to spend the night.
The four of them were the legendary secret agents..., the last descendant of the ancient clan whose ancient skills were passed down only within their clan.
With 'Lone Wolf' as their leader and his half-brothers from different mothers as his followers, their legend had flourished only within 5 years of his leadership. Even though he was only 18 years of age, he had become the emperor killing machine and killed mercilessly at his command. The emperor also used him to follow Marshal Shen and spied on him. Any other agent would probably give up their location right away. But he was able to hide his aura and spied on them from night to dawn without anyone noticing. That was the greatest skill as a secret killer agent. Lone Wolf mastered the highest skill while his three half brothers only possessed half of his talented skill. Moreover, the 100 agents under his command were just regular soldiers with only a shooting skill using guns. Overall, he was the main core of the emperor's secret agents.
Lone wolf approaching Marshal Lang and sneered arrogantly," Marshal Lang..., your skill is so-so..., while your soldiers were chicken shite..., we killed four of them when we caught them deserted you. If you were not hiding cowardly behind the tree...., Marshal Shen men would definitely finish you off...Such an impressive skill you have...' Like Master Like Soldiers'..., HaHaHa.."
The insult had attacked deeply within Nick Lang, forever he would hold a grudge against this arrogant young man. But outwardly he said," I am not as good as you, Lone Wolf..., I am only a Marshal who is good at war strategy and at directing my 400 soldiers..., the four men who were running away was a new recruiter....indeed, they were shameful.., thanks for killing them for me!!"
Nick Lang smiled flamboyantly while praising the young leader, but inwardly he was steaming with hatred for his annoying arrogance and envy at his martial art skill.
"My soldiers....,400 of them....would be here by tomorrow since they are walking...not riding horses like us..., where's the rest of your soldiers?!!", asked Nick Lang almost mockingly.
"Only four of us good enough..., my soldiers were bestowed by the emperor but they didn't have any special skills..., hence, the rest of my soldiers stay behind at the Imperial city to protect the emperor." In addition, my three brothers and I, are the true legendary secret agents. We don't need help to destroy our enemies. After all, they are just ants in our eyes!!"
His half-brothers nodded in agreement. Lone Wolf was lucky that none of his brothers ambitious enough to kill him, instead they adored their little brother and was willing to follow him as their leader and gave their lives to protect him.
After the tents were completely set up, one of his soldiers announced, " Leader..., we got rid of all the bodies near the wolves cove, so it would become the wolves dinner!!"
He nodded and coldly said," Good deed, indeed! I can't stand the smell of corpses..., now I can sleep peacefully! Agents..., stand guard in rotation every 3 hours!!"
Meanwhile, Nick Lang thought wandered to Venn Lee..., he had seen a glimpse of her raving beauty when she was out to throw out the bomb in his opposite direction...
Happily, he thought,' She knew where I was hiding but she never once shooting at me or throw the bomb at me, maybe I was in her heart after all.., she just stayed with Marshal Shen out of duty!'
His love toward her was becoming more possessive and delirious when he saw her extraordinary beauty...
While sleeping..., Nick Lang was fantasying about Venn Lee with the fairy look..., no longer the plain woman with inward beauty.., but a beautiful woman inside and out. He would fight hard to claim her...
Touching himself underneath the blanket with his unhurt hand..., he was imagining dirty fantasy with his beautiful goddess...
Meanwhile, farther away from the secret agents camp.
Three shadows were checking every corpse in front of the wolves cove. They had using a torch to scare the wolves.
Agent 001 informed," All of them dead..., young master.., only the enemy soldiers..., definitely... your mother and Marshal Shen had escaped the secret attack!!"
Suddenly, agent 003 called out," Young master..., I found one survivor..., barely breathing...".
Alex Lee strode to the giant man's side. He checked his pulse and while furrowing his brows, he said," Despicable!!! It's an ancient poison made from numerous poisonous bugs, it makes one body in agony like a thousand worms were eating their inside..., this man...I saw him at the banquet.., it was one of Marshal Shen men!! Let's save him!! Agent 003.., give him the precious 100 years antidote and take out the needles from inside his body...before his bloodstream flush it into his heart..."
Alex Lee remembered that the unconscious men were called Willis, he survived after so long because of his massive body, while Dane, the little man next to him was already cold and blue without a pulse. His small body couldn't endure the poison for too long.
"Agent 001..., dig a grave for this loyal soldier..., -
and make sure to mark it!"
Agent 003 was using some kind of magnet to drag the needles out one by one and using a very thin surgery knife, he cut enough opening to pick it out.., so far..they were 10 needles out from his body...
He probably was using his big body to covered his tiny friend, because Nick Lang only saw two blue bruises of poison needles spot on Dane's body.
Agent 003 shook his head when he still found more needles inside the giant body.
"Will he survived?", asked Alex Lee with a solemn look.
"Any normal person will die...a long time ago but he was holding on to his thin breath and survived..., with my medical skill and our precious medicine he definitely will be okay..., however, we need the leave the premise..., now..."
After taking the last needles -about thirty-some needles-, agent 003 sighed in relief and with his brute strength, he carried the giant man effortlessly and placed him inside the cart that was parked farther away behind the bushes.
Agent 001 was driving the cart by steering the horse while Agent 003 was using bushy branches to clear out their trace, thus no one could track them.
Alex Lee was watching over Willis for any sign of fever and he had decided to train this giant man since he had impressed him with his strength to endure the '1000 bugs poison' and stay alive.
When Alex Lee heard of the attack from their informant, they had come back from their disclose location to check on his parents.
Before they found the corpses they had spying on their enemies without them noticing and saw that they didn't withhold any hostages. Which means that his parents had escaped. Then farther away, they found the corpses...
Alex Lee sighed deeply. ' Mom..., Dad..., please hold on until I bring help!!!"
