Chapter 39: A Dream
"Who are you?"
The man puts down his binoculars and turns around, smiling.
"Ohuhuhu yeah, it's rude to ask for another person's name without introducing yourself first," He chuckled, as he looks at the blonde figure in front of him.
"Name's Ezreal." Ezreal said.
"Ezreal, the prodigal explorer, huh, I heard a lot about you, ohuuhuhuhu." The man laughed.
Hearing what the man said, Ezreal's pupil narrowed, as he attacked.
"Mystic shot." A bolt composed of energy shot out from his right hand.
"Ohuhuhu, why so serious?" The man said as he disappeared from the spot
*Boom* The bolt hit the ground, kicking up dust.
'Where did he go?' Ezreal looks around in alertness. He's a peak B-ranker, but the person disappeared from his sense completely, unlike Jayce, he has lots of experience in battles, and for the man to evade his sense, he must be a higher level or have some unknown skills.
'Shit! Arcane Shift!' Ezreal muttered an ability as he blinks away from where he stood.
*BOOM* The ground exploded in a circular shape from where Ezreal was previously.
"Oh? You have a good sense," A voice suddenly sounds behind Ezreal, making him unable to react.
*Puah* Ezreal spat out blood. He looked down and saw a dagger implanted through his stomach.
"What!? Ho-...ARGGGGH!" A sudden rush of pain washed through him, making him scream.
'Poison?' He realized the dagger was coated with poison, so with haste, he tried to get it out.
"Ohuhuhu, the poison won't kill you instantly, but it will help you to experience what hell's like ohuhuhu." The person laughs menacingly.
"Who *argh* are you?" On his knee, clutching his stomach, he asks the person.
"Ohuhu, the name's Shaco...Well, look like your friends are here, I'll see you again, maybe... Adios!" Shaco said as he disappeared.
*BOOM* A hammer flew through and hit the spot where he stood, previously.
"Ezreal, are you okay?" Jayce came beside him, looking at his exposed stomach. The Dagger has already gone, leaving a very gored scene.
"I..wh.." Ezreal mutters, his eyes droop, as his consciousness slips away.
"Oh, the mother of life, please grant I, the power to heal, to end the suffers of the mortals, as I am Thou's Star Child. WISH!" A soft voice of Soraka came from behind him, followed by an incantation in a different language.
*Whoosh* Multiple, green-colored pillars appeared floating in the sky, forming a circular shape with inscription filled within, creating a massive magic circle pattern. Magic particles flew toward the unconscious Ezreal, his injuries are healed in the naked eyes.
Jayce and Caitlyn look at the scene with wonders. Jayce who was unconscious the last time didn't get to see the wonders of such magic. Caitlyn had already seen the scene, but it still amazes her how beautiful it is.
'Wish!' As a former notorious Soraka main, Jayce of course knows about the ability, it's disgustingly broken of an ability! Soraka can heal people crossed map! Seeing it in real life, Jayce is flabbergasted with how O.P. the ability is!
After several seconds, the pillars dissipated.
"Phew, he is fine, now. Let us bring him back, whatever happened here must be severe for even Ezreal to end up in such a situation." Soraka said. Even if Ezreal is not strong as the like of Poppy and them, he is still a B-ranker, for him to be severely injured in a short period, the opponent must be extremely strong.

Ezreal's POV
"Where am I?" Ezreal mutters as he looks around, he seems to be in an underground tomb as he looks around the room that is scripted with words from different languages along the walls.
He then looks at the center of the room, where lies a golden altar, on the altar, a golden gauntlet is hovered midair, emitting blue light from its center, where a blue orb rests.
Ezreal got up and walked toward the gauntlet mindlessly as if being controlled.
'It's so beautiful,' He reaches out with his hand, wanting to touch the gauntlet.
*whoosh* The moment he touched the gauntlet, his surroundings changed.
Ezreal confusedly looked around. Finding himself in a different room, much bigger than the previous one.
"Why are you standing around for, dimwit! MOVE!" A voice sounds from behind him, waking him up from his stupor.
Ezreal then looked at the person, as his memories started to surge in his mind.
"Kaisa?" He said in a muffled voice, his eyes brimmed with tears. His hand reached out toward her.
*snort* Instead of replying to him, Kaisa fired a purple missile toward Ezreal.
He's in no state of mind to dodge the attack as he just mindlessly stared at her, but fortunately...
"ARGGGH!" The missile flew past him, hitting a creature that wanted to bounce on him
"I SAID MOVE! LET'S GET OUT OF HERE!" Kaisa reaches her hand and drags the confused Ezreal away.
"ARGGGGGGH!" Behind them, countless small creatures roared as they chased the escaping duo. They are similar to those Void creatures who had attacked PiltOver, The Voidlings!
"Icathian Rain!" Kaisa shouts, dozens of purple missiles emerged from her wing, colliding with the voidlings.
*BOOM* Huge explosions rang out within the tombs, killing hundreds of those bugs, but alas...
Like ants' tides, those that died got replaced with even more of those bugs, making it an endless ocean of bugs, swarming toward the duo.
"Trueshot Barrage!" The shout of Ezreal came from behind Kaisa, a massive bolt made up of energies swept through the surrounding, eliminating all the bugs in the process.
Ezreal had already calmed down and analyzed the situation. Although he doesn't know why he's in this godforsaken place again; a tomb where he went once in the past to obtain an item, tears of the goddess. He decided to prioritize the safety of his wife first.
Yes, wife! Ever since their first encounter within the very same tomb, he had already headfirst fallen in love with the woman. He knows that he should not, as he had already identified the woman to be that of a void creature, but he can't help but helplessly falls in love with the kind woman.
"Phew, that was close right, Kaisa?" Ezreal exhaled as he laughed, but he got no response.
"Kaisa? KAISA!?" The woman who was next to him was gone! Not just Kaisa, even his surroundings changed.
Ezreal finds himself in a void-like space, everything is dark.
Suddenly, in a distance, a figure of a woman appeared, the woman is Kaisa!
"Kaisa? KAISA! HEY!" He shouts her name as he hastily runs toward her.
But some strange scene is happening,
No matter how hard he runs, the distance between them remained the same.
"FUCK OFF! WHAT IS THIS? HEY KAISA, CAN YOU HEAR ME?!"
Kaisa didn't respond, just silently stared at him, tears streaming down her face.
"I'm sorry... We are not meant to be..." With that she turns around, walking toward the empty void.
Seeing her figure gradually disappear into the dark, Ezreal, with tears also streaming down his face, shouts
"KAISA! STOP! I CAN FIX THIS! STOP!"
"KAISA!" With every shout, her figure gets even blurrier
"Kaisa..."
"Kaisa....."
Then, everything went dark.
He woke up.
