He walked over to the only window and watched Hivefiends running through Nephthys Death Wall. With each thunderous impact, the creatures crumpled to the ground, their twisted bodies instantly consumed by the lethal magic of the barrier.

Lex couldn't tear his eyes away despite the horror unfolding before him. He was transfixed by the chaotic dance of life and death playing out beyond the window, which continued for a while until the Hivefiends stopped coming.

''Dinner is done, Lex!'' Emilia spoke from behind him, ''Come to taste it. It's a recipe I learned from one of the palace cooks.''

Stepping back from the window, he approached the table, where an array of food awaited him. An irresistible spread greeted his eyes: savory sausages nestled beside crispy bacon, golden toast, and hearty beans, which shocked Lex.

'These dishes are from Earth; I haven't encountered them here before,' he mused silently.
