Chapter 23: CH 20 #Haunted Voices
"Lia..."
Lia instantly turned around when she heard that voice .
Anger replaced her calm mood as she glared at the person standing in front of her.
"We need to talk" .

Arran sat around with the gossipy girls while she was waiting for her interview.
She will be interviewed by her mother . Arran wished that Lia had a safe interview. Cause her mother is known for her direct and rude questions.
"Hey ... Arran right ??" a young girl wearing a blue gown sat beside her .
"Yeah and ..... who you might be??" She questioned .
The girl scratched her head and laughed .
"I am Sabrina nice to meet you " she smiled .
Arran couldn't describe Sabrina's smile . She felt instantly drawn to her . "Since you know my name .... I won't waste my time saying it again" Arran looked down .
Sabrina laughed and said " Do you wanna go out?? because I don't think that you are a queenish - ball type person "
Arran didn't even thought for a second and said " Yes please. " She sounded desperate .
They both slipped away and ran towards the school ground , where many students were sitting on the grass chatting and enjoying the activities .
The environment inside the building and outside the building was pretty different .
Students were sitting outside and enjoying the night with their friends.
The scholarship students and few students who didn't gave a damn about the ball. were sitting /sleeping on the grass while cool breeze blew . There were many Booth's there like ice cream booth , candy floss, photo booth and many activities Booth's.
Arran belonged here , She hated those double faced people who stick with her just for some gains.
"Wow I didn't knew that there is another show going on here !!" Arran exclaimed getting all excited.
Sabrina laughed "Well I needed to escape that place and you seemed pretty bored out there so I thought , why not grab this girl too? " .
Arran smiled and sat down on the grass without caring about her dress and removed her high heels . She flexed her fingers and rested her feet on the cold grass ,A sigh left her mouth as she felt the grass under her feet .
"Is this all illegal??" Arran questioned .
Sabrina made a funny face and said "Bah! can anything be done illegal here?? the student council decided on this , so that if someone is unwilling he/she can come here and enjoy" Sabrina pulled Arran's hand and said " Let's try the activities ! come on !!!"
On the other hand
" Bark !!" Lia folded her arms and leaned on the pillar .
Jared pulled lia towards a quite balcony which overlooked a beautiful forest .

" I know that you are still angry with me , I know that I have done worst thing, by cheating on you ... but I was not well when I cheated on yo-" lia instantly cut of Jared .
"oh ! so you are saying that you had fever when you cheated on me??" lia laughed .
"NO!! I mean to say that I was not in my right mind !!!! I don't even remember what happened !! things happened all so sudden . Me waking up and seeing Aaxin beside me . You leaving the house and going abroad without saying anything ....."
"Me leaving abroad?? ha ha ha " Lia laughed without any humor ." Is it what that bitch told you??'' lia questioned .
Her eyes brimmed with hot tears and she jammed her finger on his chest "I. Lia . Xi. Won't be fooled by all of you !! you could have contacted me . You have money and power right?? then why didn't you used your energy in finding me??? oh wait that bitch must have been keeping you bed warm . Why would you need me !!" Lia wiped her tears carefully .So that her makeup may not get spoiled .
Jared grabbed her hands "Do not call Aaxin a bitch !! do you even know how much guilt she has inside her ?? it took me a week to calm her and console her !! she hates herself for sleeping with me !!! after waiting for months I let go off you and made Aaxin my girlfriend because I never wanted her to feel sad !!" Jared took Aaxin's stand a mocked lia"do you even know that her dad died after you left ?? how devastated she was ??? oh wait you don't !! because you were enjoying somewhere in UK /USA !! "
Lia was tired of listening to Jared "What do you want from me??" Her voice was tired and hurt .
Jared took a step towards lia and said
" Come back " .
Those two words made lia worked up.
SLAP!!!
Lia slapped Jared . HARD.
"Me?? with you ?? ha !! never again I won't hurt myself all over again !! " Lia was about to go back to the ball room but Jared grabbed her hand pulled her towards him and pinned her on the pillar and loomed over her lips .
"Let's go back Lilith . I miss you . your touch. your laugh . every thing!! let's forget the past and be back together again " Jared's face was scary he was Never denied .Never. He went crazy when Lia said no . He wanted to kiss her then and there only .
He wanted the old naive Lilith back.
Lia tried to move her hands that was pinned above her , she tried to curl her lips but Jared grabbed her mouth ."Stop it!! you are hurting me!!" Lia never thought that Jared has changed so much "let me go you scum bag!!!" She kicked him . Hard .
Jared yelled in pain .
Lia grabbed this opportunity and ran away .
"No.... stop Lilith ..... I am sorry" Jared groaned.
Lia ran towards the ball room to find Arran .
She was nowhere to be found.

"My god Arran I definitely should give you a gift !!" Sabrina and Arran walked back carrying bags full if goodies and toys Arran won .
"You should have seen the look on their faces when you pinned every balloon !!!" Sabrina laughed .
"Well I had a lot if training in this compartment ... my family is from the military side and everyone there is taught to shoot and fight at a very young age" Arran said while eating her Candy floss.
