Chapter 34: Demi-God's Ring
Above the East Continent, Lin Fan saw multiple colored lightning twist in the sky as thousands of buildings rapidly descended towards the major landmarks he was familiar with thanks to his geological studies.
One of these buildings had even appeared above Eight Clan Mountain as Lin Fan sighed and put down an alchemy book. Why out of all places would a random building shoot down from the heaven's near his sect?
A massive cloud of dust shot all across the mountains of East Continent as those buildings rapidly descended and buffeted the world with a cloud of dust. Suddenly, the sky that had been blue turned a dark hue as millions screamed across the continent...
'I'm guessing this must be the first part of the prophecy...' Lin Fan said as he shook his head, and activated Emergency Protection around Mimi Fan as a few soldiers went blowing away in the wind. 'The first part of the prophecy states that great treasure will arrive on earth that all races will be willing do die for... However, they never stated they'd have the balls to do it on my mountain...'
Lin Fan wasn't the only one that was upset at the descent of these gigantic buildings.
Forbidden Valley
Gale Fan had been having a fun adventure with Tang Fan before a building landed on his new sect. It was only a small box that he'd managed to make, but it was still his property... Suddenly, a gigantic blood throne appeared floating in front of him as a sanguine sword plummeted into his hands from the skies.
He was going to get revenge for someone messing with his sect! This was his property, and not even something that fell from the heavens had an excuse to mess with his land!
"Gale... I think I remember reading that the Empyrean Race owns those buildings... If you attack them, I don't think you will look like master any longer?"
"You think I'm not strong?" Gale Fan nodded his head as a small, beautiful girl walked out of the building that destroyed his sect... "I go kill her, and then we regain our sect grounds..."
"She's from the Empyrean Race! They are born with power above the Enchanted Realm..." Tang Fan couldn't believe how impulsive Lin Fan's look alike was with violence. Lin Fan was only impulsive when it came to his fiance, and women, but was actually strategic when it came to war.
Gale Fan, on the other hand, was more so an idiot and seemed like he thought only with his sword. His master thought with his other head, which wasn't as bad, but maybe both would respond similarly to the blonde beauty approaching them.
"I'm not here to take your land..." The blonde Empyrean said as she appeared right in front of Gale Fan and grabbed his sword. "However, if you dare attack me, I promise you'll never have children, nor reach your full potential..."
"I... I want my box back..." Gale Fan said as he gulped and pulled out a dagger and put it to her throat... "Lift up building so I can get my sect back..."
"You... you're kidding? You'd try and garner my wrath over a little box?" The beauty sighed and snapped her fingers, which caused a beautiful pagoda to appear to her right... "Here, does that make you feel better..."
"No, fight me... If i win, give me all your blood..." Gale Fan put his hand on her shoulder and nodded his head as he looked into her green, heavenly eyes. "I promise... if I beat you, I will bury your body in a place no one ever defile it..."
"Sect Leader... She's way above you in strength..." Tang Fan tried to grab Gale Fan's hand as his sword started to glow with a sanguine light. "You look like Lin Fan, so I feel like it's my destiny to obey you... However, lady, please... please trust me when I say he's an idiot..."
"I like idiots..." The beauty took out a small card and handed it to Gale Fan... "If you want to get strong, go into that temple..."
"I can't kill you?" Gale Fan was somewhat upset as the beautiful Na Ran. the Empyrean, disappeared and left a small map that appeared to show the inside of the temple in front of him... "Hey, Tang Fan, new mission... We must get revenge for our sect!"
"You're even worse then master..." Tang Fan sighed as he blushed and thought about that beautiful Empyrean... "The Empyrean Race is not a race you want to anger... They have people in the demi-god realm that could cut seas in half and render the skies and sun into an eternal night!"
"Our box more important..." Gale Fan pat Tang Fan in the face before he began walking towards the Empyrean Temple. According to the prophecy, the Empyrean Temples were the first sign of the war between the seven races.
These temples had immense treasures in them that could only be won by a select few, and in order to do so you had to pass several tests. However, since Gale Fan was an idiot, all he wanted to do was get to the Empyrean Beauty and drain her of her blood which was an extremely foolish thing to do...
"If only master were here, he'd handle it--"
"You... you... you think she like me?" Gale Fan said with an amorous look in his green eyes. "You... you think I drain her blood she want to date me..."
'Just a dumber version of Lin Fan..." Tang Fan didn't dare respond to Gale Fan's insanity as he thought about the terror of the Empyrean Race. 'Master, I really hope you're handling it better where you are now...'
Fan Sect
Lin Fan couldn't believe the Empyrean Race was brazen enough to drop their temple in the Fan Sect Outskirts. A few bunnies had been killed that were still hunting for wolves which made him somewhat upset.
However, what really surprised him was that Su Fan happened to appear right in front of the doorway to the temple.
"Ow! I'm sorry! I didn't see you were there..." Su Fan smiled as an extremely thin, yet extremely powerful man looked down with a glower. "I thought this was the bathroom! He must have hit my ass too hard..."
"You... you're not welcome in our temple... No one in this Sect is allowed..." The man sighed as Su Fan walked into the wall over and over again as Lin Fan floated over to her side. Because of the new elements he stored in his body, he arrived at her side somewhat awkwardly as the man held onto a sword with trembling fingers...
Lin Fan instantly felt an indescribable anger as he turned Su Fan around so she could walk towards the trees. However, what really surprised him was the sheer intensity of the man's eyes standing before him and the vile killing intent imbued in those eyes.
"I'm sorry... That's my fiance... She's blind and escaped our session..."
"Lin Fan, right?" The man scoffed and looked at the Fan Sect with both contempt and disbelief... "You're the one related to Zhou Han, right? The one the Empyrean Race vowed to wipe out of existence?"
"I'm afraid I don't know who you're talking about, but if you dare threaten my women like that again, I'll wipe out your family..."
"You have as big of balls as your father..." A blinding flash of light blurred, ending with a sword touching against Lin Fan's neck. "However, even with a system, you're nothing compared to the Empyrean Race..."
"I'm sure your sister will feel differently when I finally meet her..." Lin Fan spat to the side as he sighed and looked at Jin Lan approaching behind him as he snarled with a breathtaking anger... "However, why the hell are you here? Don't you know this is private property?"
"The heaven's don't have eyes for little shit... This Fan Sect of yours will be destroyed now that this temple is here... Thousands from every race will rush for the treasures inside this temple, and you'll have to watch as your women are swept and taken away..."
"We'll see..." Lin Fan held Jin Lan back as lightning started to spark on his fur, causing the air to ignite as he growled with a terrifying vigor.. "However, it was nice to meet you... I promise next time I see you on my property it will be an all out war..."
"I'm a demi-god..." Ja Ran said as he shook his head and watched Lin Fan walk away... "You can't be serious about going to war with a demi-god? I'm at least a thousand times stronger then you...
Lin Fan shook his head and drew a line in the ground before he made a cut throat gesture and walked away. He wasn't stupid enough to fight a demi-god directly yet, but he didn't mind stealing from one that had such thin fingers.
'Well, I couldn't steal his sister, but at least I got his spatial ring... Who needs to go into a temple when the gatekeeper wears all the treasures on his thumb...' Lin Fan sighed and put Su Fan in his arms as she walked into a tree...
"Su Fan, that's not the bathroom, that's poison root!" Lin Fan sighed as he held Su Fan in his arms... "You... you are really bad at being blind, you know that?"
"I know, but I really like you..." Su Fan said as she kissed Lin Fan on the cheek... "Thanks for saving my life again, Sect Leader... Tonight, I promise to make it up to you..."
