Chapter 6: The Grumping Kiddo
Narrator's POV:
Alucard's still observing Tigreal's training session with his parents.
At that moment, he saw Tigreal's arrogance, confidence, and competence in his capabilities as a knight-in-training.
Upon witnessing that sort of behavior from him, Alucard could not help himself, that the burning inspiration and awe towards Tigreal he had earlier, transforms into irritation.
Alucard's POV:
*pouting*
As I watch from afar, I could still hear them, loud and clear. Thanks to my extraORDINARY sensory skills!
WAHAHAHA!
Joke only folks.
*cough in comical manner*
Anyway, let's get back to the topic.
. . .
As I listen to their conversation, ESPECIALLY that TIGREAL guy, my irritation, my anger, and my annoyance, are lingering.
*pissed*
"Y'know that TIGREAL guy....?"
- I angrily ask.
*pissed*
"Indeed, he has great potential stored in him."
- I said.
"YES! Yes, it is! No doubt about it."
- my thoughts nods and agreed, funnily.
"He'll become a great knight that'll certainly make the Empire proud."
- I said in a calm tone
"Yes, yes."
- my thoughts nods again, comically.
"And you know what? I have this feeling of excitement in meeting him, and introducing myself to him earlier."
- I calmly said again.
" . . . Hmmm . . . ? "
- my thoughts stare at me, like he's waiting for my response.
(*Do mind stares anyway?*)
"And you know what again, forget it. I've changed my mind."
- I said in an annoyed tone.
"What's the reason, little fella? Why grumpy all of a sudden?"
- my thoughts confusedly ask, comically.
My thoughts pretends like it doesn't know, but I'm already aware that he knows what I mean.
Because, WE RESIDE IN THE SAME MIND!
DUUUH.
"Why?? Isn't obvious? That Tigreal guy is over confident maan! Like... What the hell! We know for sure that he wouldn't achieved what he had achieved today without my Mama and Papa's guidance!"
- I angrily replied.
"Woah, woah, chillax dude! Calm down! You looked like a roasted potato if your mad brruuhhh!"
- my thoughts swag-vibe talk style.
". . ."
- I quiet down
"That's more like it. Just be calm."
- my chilly-nature thoughts said.
"But you know what, after all those toxicity behavior he have shown towards my parents, I'm still amused by his battle prowess."
- I admittedly said.
" . . . "
- my thoughts is listening.
"That's why, I am still inspired and looking forward in greeting and introducing myself to him. But, the only thing WHICH I TRULY hate, is that D*MN arrogance of his! Sheesh! I hate him for having that sort of attitude."
- I admittedly said again.
So, I have been GRUMPING all the time as I tirelessly listening to their nonsense blabbering, especially that Tigreal's arrogance!...
It's so annoying in my ears!

Tigreal's POV:
*panting heavily*
At long last *pant*, after all those severe trials to become a full-fledge knight *pant*, has finally ended!
*pant*
Finally! *pant* *pant* My long-awaited day has come! *pant*
"Congratulations Sir Tigreal, you are now officially a knight. You are now eligible in taking part any missions!"
- my female mentor cheerfully congratulate me.
"Job well done, Sir Tigreal. Indeed, you always exceed our expectations. As your mentors, we are amazed by your drastic improvements."
- my male mentor said in a normal tone.
". . ."
"Keep up the good work Sir Tigreal. One day, you'll become a great knight that the Empire could be proud of."
- my male mentor congratulate me in a normal tone.
"Now, all those years of training session with us, has finally reached it's conclusion."
- my female mentor concluded the session.
"We will now declare the dismissal of this session. Have a good day and we, your mentors, are looking forward in cooperating with you in your very first mission."
- my male mentor concluded and they all left.

They've all left in silence, and leaving me all alone.
Now, this is the moment I've been longing for years. The moment, that all my hardwork, came to fruition!
The title, which I've been longing for my mentors to give.
The Title of Knighthood...

Such excitement! Such pleasure to hear on my ears. At long last!

This excitement, is indeed I've longed and reached but.... Why?

Why didn't I see any exhaustion from them? Why can I feel like, they are just going easy on me? As if, they are just holding back against me?
*pissed*
Such humiliation!

I cannot accept this! They made me a look weak in their presence! My mentors, are just holding back against me!
Their words, their praise, are all fake! Fake! Fake, that I wanna spit.
GAAAHH!!!
This is unacceptable!
Narrator's POV:
After all those negative thoughts, Tigreal gone very frustrated that his mentors are just going easy to him.
He also doubts that all his skills he have accumulated under their supervision, are all nothing.
What's the point of all his hardwork if he can't even pour a sweat on them?

Tigreal felt humiliation and frustration instead of happiness in becoming a full-fledge knight.
He's busy ranting on his thoughts that he forgot to express his thanks to his mentors.
Alucard's POV:
*grumping*
"PEEK-A -BOO!!!!"
- my papa suddenly pops out of nowhere.
! ! !
While I am grumping on the corner, I didn't know that my mama and papa are done talking on that, TIGREAL D' ARROGANT.
Because of that spacing and grumpy thingy, I didn't know that my papa surprised me.
Of course, I'm so surprised and I flinch so great at that moment.
*whisper: I almost pissed my pants."
"Oh? Did I scared you that great son?"
- my papa cheerfully ask while bursting with laughter.
"WHA-??! PAPA??!"
- I shout surprisedly.
"Oh sweety pie, will you quit surprising our son like that? If you still insist on surprising him, he'll die due to shock. Do you want that, sweety?"
- my mama lecturing my papa.
"Oh, come on sweetheart, I'm just giving our son a shock therapy to get rid that grumpy face of his."
- my papa replied.
" *glare funnily* Have you forgotten that you've always surprised our son 3x a day?"
- my mama glares at papa.
" Okay, okay sweetheart! Just please.... Don't give me that look, you'll give me nightmares at night! Please make it stop! I'M BEGGING YOUUU!!!"
- my papa start begging at mama.
" . . . "
- my mama didn't say any words.
"Hmmmm... By the way son, what's with a grumpy face all of a sudden? Is there something..... Umm... Something wrong?"
- while papa's asking a question, he lift me.
I crossed both my arms at my chest and pouting.
" *pouting* That Tigreal guy... He's so... so... GRRRR!!! ARROGANT!!!"
- I said in a pissed tone.
"I can't bare to see him in my beautiful eyes!!"
- I'm praising my beautiful eyes.

" He didn't even showed gratitude to all your ceaseless efforts to train him at all!! He just stand out there like a statue! He didn't even realize how much effort mama and papa went, just for the sake of honing him!!! I hate him Mama, Papa! I hate H-"
- as I rant, mama pat me on my shoulders and stare me at the eyes.
"It's ok, dear. We're already aware of his attitude since we've been his mentors for years. I think 4 years or 8?"
- my mama said in a calm tone.
"We know that his attitude is very rude but his respect... Is far greater than his arrogance. A respect for his Mentors. We clearly saw it through his way of expressing us"
- my papa spoke calmly as he pats me on the head.
"Sorta like rudeness to me"
- I mumbled in a disgust expression, comically.
"Hahahah!! I heard you little boy."
- my papa glares at me, funnily.
" ! ! ! "
- I flinched, really.
It's clearly obvious he can hear me because, Papa is lifting me!
DUUUH...
Of course he can hear me.
" *laugh* But... Even though he's like that, we're amazed at how fast he learned the lessons we've taught him. It was our first time teaching a fast-learner kid like him."
- my father said
"Indeed! That's why, we're so proud of him. And... We'll share everything we can and teach him well."
- my father calmly said.
"Because we believe... in an untold future, that he'll become a knight, as great as us, or even greater than us in the future. A knight, that'll protect this Empire from foreign invaders that caused nothing but havoc."
- my father seriously said.
"When that time comes, we may have vanished from this world of living, we will eternally be proud of him."
- my mama said.
" . . . "
- I listened to them.
"And we'll be watching his journey throughout the lands, and witness our expectations brought to reality."
- my father said in an awe tone.

"It was a great honor to pass our knowledge to someone oozing with potentials, and we, as his mentors, will forever cherish this honor till very end."
- my mama said in an awe tone.

"We are so grateful that he managed to pass the trial we gave to him. Such relief to hear. I wish we could teach someone as great as him in the future."
- my father concluded.

"Alright, alright! Chitchat is over, let's head back home. I'll cook all your favorite dish once we go home."
- my mother cheerfully said that to brighten the mood.

Narrator's POV:
As they head back to their house, young Alucard didn't utter any word, not even showing any comical expressions regarding that moment.
He's gotten quiet as he saw his parents admiring Tigreal.
He didn't utter any words until they all went back home safely. He is just quiet and emotionless, which is unbelievable to a noisy kid like him..
