Chapter 2: MY BORING LIFE
"Raven ! I just found a really good place for you to stay in , you don't have to live in that shitty place anymore"
"what about the rent?"
"it's a little low because you will have a roommate staying with you "
"roommate huh?"
"yeah! we'll I'll send you the address , you better take a look at it "
"hmm , thanks Lia "
"I know I'm thankful and if you didn't like this house then you must be on streets "
"fine fine , I'll take a visit this afternoon "
Raven cut the call as she got herself comfortable in her bed .
"I have no idea what I'm gonna do "
sighing , Raven let her head fall on the pillows as she stared at the blank ceiling.
The sudden call made her jump from her sleep as Raven woke from her small nap.
"Hello?"
"you must be ms.raven?"
"yea"
"we'll ,your friend lia told me you wanted a room here , why don't you come and see the room so that you can shift soon?"
"oh yea I'll be in 30 minutes"
Raven got up from her bed as the bed creaked making her irritate. she got checked herself in the mirror . she was looking terrible . she decided to cover her face with a mask and cap with a large shirt and skinny jeans , she matched herself with the pair of vans as she got out of her room .
"you must be raven ?"
"oh yeah "
"let me take you to the room which you will be staying "
Raven followed behind a lady who was at her mid 50s. the apartment seemed quite clean and surprisingly quiet.
"this will be your room , your roommate is not here yet , so feel free to look around , I'll leave then "
The old lady was really too kind , Raven wondered how even some unknown person can talk too sweet .
She opened the door as she was immediately hit with the smell of old books. the walls of the living room were painted with a smooth shade of lilac.
But the whole house was messy , not with clothes but with a variety collection of books . she felt home .
She picked up a book named "If it's not you then it is no one else " . her roommate must be a hopeless romantic , she thought herself as she chuckled and placed the book at its place .
She looked around the room , the room was simple , lilac coloured living room , two bedroom which were painted with baby blue colour , a bathroom which was quite spacious and a small kichen , she liked it .
"well this is gonna be my home soon"
Raven gave a hopeful smile as she kicked the door and filled the required details . she was told that she can move within the next week.
"hey lia I decided to shift over there , it's really good "
"told ya , call me when you are done packing , I'll help you shift the things "
"hmmm"
maybe this was the cue Ravens life was gonna change ...
