Chapter 134: Academy
Day of the admission,
The streets of Konoha bustling with people as its the day of admission. This day is even more crowded as everyone in the village came around to see the clan heirs and clan heads who were the legendary heroes that won the war several years ago and brought peace to the shinobi world.
Just like other changes, even the academy has few changes like instead of a 6-year program like before, it is now a 4 year one and the eight-year-olds will join the academy and will complete four years later.
Early age joining is prohibited by Naruto and so was early graduation. Outstanding students can graduate early at the most one year earlier now as it's peacetime.
That's why despite being as strong as a jonin, Aihara is still a 3rd-year academy student. Everyone in her age envy as she has the looks, strength, talent, background and a hardworking personality.
As a brother of such a genius and the son of the head of the "Alliance", Ichiyama started to feel nervous as he walks on the streets of Konoha along with Shuichi, Ino and his twin, Isozaki who is very calm unlike him.
He spoke, "Mom, don't you think there are too many people here?". Ino laughed, "that's just because your father rarely comes out and walks in public".
Isozaki mumbled, "it would be better if we just teleport there directly". Shuichi smiled, "sometimes, it's good to be surrounded by various people".
They slowly made their way while greeting everyone on the way. Shuichi called out and waved his hand, "oh, Hina...boruto kun, Hima chan...". She greeted back, "Shu Nii..you all are here".
Shuichi nodded, "well, of course. How wouldn't I be? after all, kids were going to join the academy today". As he ruffled both of their hairs, he asked, "where's Naruto?". As he sounded his name, Boruto became crestfallen.
Shuichi's face turned dark, "he's again busy with his Hokage stuff isn't he?". while he was about to scold something, Ino pulled his hand and gestured not to speak anything while looking at Boruto and the Kids.
He looked at them and sighed while Hinata apologetically looked at him as Boruto spoke, "it's alright. I don't expect him to be here, anyway. I'm going". Both the twins also said goodbye to them and went into the academy.
While walking back together, Shuichi asked, "why don't you guys just move our clan?". She replied, "you already know the answer, right. Why keep asking about it?".
As the atmosphere became tense, Ino said, "Honey, why don't you just go back home with Hima chan? I and Hinata will go for shopping". Himawari immediately jumped in excitement as she loved going to their house and spending time with Hyuga clan.
She raised her hands and say "uncle". He gave her a piggyback ride as they went back to the clan compound. Meanwhile, Ino and Hinata went out for shopping and also had a get together with other housewives.
In an unknown dimension, an unknown planet lost all of its life. Suddenly, it was destroyed by some unknown power.
Two people were floating in space while seeing the planet's destruction. Both have their horns and wore a standard otsutsuki clothing that Kuniyuki wear which is quite different from the one Shuichi wears.
The burly guy spoke, "Momoshiki sama, news from the prophet. Kaguya sama's planet has been found. It seems there is now a guardian for the planet replacing Kaguya sama who killed Kuniyuki sama and absorbed his powers".
Momoshiki frowned, "Kaguya was supposed to bring back that special chakra fruit back to the clan and ascend to Matriarch. She's nothing but a traitor of the clan who not only took the chakra fruit for herself but also dared to fell in love with an inferior being.
But a descendant of hers killed Kuniyuki eh? now that's bad news for us. Contact the prophet and tell her to find out how he killed him. I want every detail of that battle. Kuniyuki isn't someone that can be defeated by a piece of human trash".
Kinshiki nodded, "yes, I will but you should also remember the clan rules. Whoever it is, he is now a true Otsutsuki. We can't kill a clan member". Momoshiki nodded, "of course, that goes without saying".
Meanwhile at Konoha, as the twins, Boruto and others become acquainted with everyone in the class, Shuichi and Himawari reached the house to find everything a mess and saw the little three-headed blue dragon and the house cat fighting each other.
While the heads are trying to bite it, the cat is dodging skillfully and scratching it making it even angrier. Shuichi shouted, "oi, you two, stop fighting". Immediately as soon as they heard his voice, the cat started running towards him.
But both of them stopped as they saw his expression. Shuichi lectured them, "you two stop messing around, will you? Matatabi, you are a 1000-year-old bijuu while he's just a 13-year-old little kid. You should look after him, not bully him around".
Then he looked at Aidus, "and you. For God's sake, you are a dragon. Please behave like one". He sulked, "Ku...".
Aidus who's still a toddler for his species which matured into an adult after 100 years, made sounds and tried to complain about something.
Shuichi sighed, "fine but don't cause trouble there, alright?". Immediately, Matatabi made sounds "Meow, meow...". Then it started to jump around. Shuichi nodded, "fine, you too can go with him but get along, okay? If I get one more complaint form them, You two will be grounded".
As they agreed, he sent both of them to Mt. Kumagadake and looked at the curious Himawari, "they are a bit dangerous for you to pet them. Sorry, Hima chan. Shall we go see grandpa?".
In the academy, while Isozaki sat with his cousin Sarada Uchiha and diligently listening to Shino who became a teacher, in the backbench, Ichiyama was chatting with Boruto and Shikadai.
Time flew by peacefully for 2 years. Not much has changed in this period. The students studied, played around and trained together except for one single thing.
For the past year, Boruto started to see the visible changes in one's chakra and likewise track a target through their chakra. Although not at will. At first, he thought he was dreaming, but as he saw the second time during his spar against Isozaki, he thought he awakened Byakugan and told his family.
While Naruto smiled, Hinata thought, "but Shu Nii said he can't awake Byakugan in his life". She said, "go to your Uncle and Grandpa with your dad, okay?".
While they were walking towards the Hyuga clan compound, Boruto asked, "dad, why don't mom ever go visit grandpa?". Naruto sighed, "it's complicated". Boruto said, "c'mon, dad, I'm not a kid anymore".
Naruto replied, "All I can say, it's my fault but I'll tell you the whole truth when you become a Genin, okay? until then, don't ask or bring mom's name up in front of Grandpa".
As Boruto nodded, they reached the clan compound and entered it. A Hyuga clan guard bowed, "greetings Hokage sama". Naruto asked, "where is everyone?".
