Chapter 10: 2 - Part D:
Location: Student Area,
Cafeteria 1
We entered the school cafeteria, and it was crowded with the first year and second year students.
The school cafeteria looks like a fast-food joint were in there is a counter with a variety of food to choose from.
I look around to see what the students were eating, and all I see was hospital food.
We grab a tray beside the entrance of the cafeteria and waited in line.
The line was slowly progressing and after few minutes of waiting, we reach the first section of the food counter which is the appetizers.
As I look around the appetizers, all I see was different types of salads.
Since I'm not a fan of green leafy vegetables, I decided to ask the cafeteria lady in charge of this section to give me a tomato salad.
As for Lokki and Roc, they ordered a lettuce-tomato combo salad. For the second section of the counter, it was the main dish.
I look around to see what they have on the menu and saw a variety of boiled meat.
I ask the cafeteria lady of this section to give me a boiled steak.
Lokki ordered a boiled fish while Roc ordered a suspicious looking boiled meat.
For the third section... Looks like the line isn't progressing at all.
The people who were on front of me gave up and left one by one.
As the people on front of me left, I saw the reason of the problem.
There was a boy with grayish green hair wearing a bandana and a lot of ear rings on his right ear.
He also has a bit of facial hair and seems to be 2 to 3 years older than me.
He was flirting with a girl who has short orange hair and violet eyes with a red ribbon at the back of her head.
She was wearing the school uniform with a white apron that the other cafeteria ladies wear.
She must be a working student.
While the guy was trying to bust some moves, the girl doesn't seem to enjoy his company at all.
Lokki made a comment.
"Oh great it's lover boy again."
Roc reacted...
"What!? Seriously lover boy again? What the hell man!?"
Lokki gave us a suggestion.
"Let's just go guys. We could always buy something from the convenience store later."
Roc agreed...
"Yeah man! Let's scram before lunch break is over."
"I see..."
I went near lover boy and heard their conversation.
"Hey babe! I'm pretty sure you're into me now!"
"Well um I-"
"Come on babe! I know you want me!"
"Um..."
This type of person won't budge with just a complain so I decided to push him out of the way.
"Move!"
I push him with my right hand, and he fell towards the floor.
Suddenly the whole cafeteria became quiet, and everyone stares at the both of us.
He quickly gets up, looks at me in the face and grabs my collar.
"What the hell punk?!"
"You're blocking the way!"
He tightens his grip.
"Are you asking for a beating?"
I told him the obvious.
"No, I'm asking you to get lost!"
Looks like I pissed him off.
"Now you're asking for it!"
He was about to punch in the face while I was about to electrocute him, Lokki tries to calm lover boy down while Roc forcefully separates us.
"Hey easy there lover boy!"
He looks at Lokki with anger.
"Lover boy?!"
Lokki quickly corrects himself.
"I mean sir!"
Lokki continues speaking.
"He just transferred in recently, so he doesn't really know what he's doing. Can you let this one slide please?"
Lokki put his hands together like he was asking for a favor. Lover boy calms down.
"Transfer student huh..."
He looks at me.
"Be grateful that I'm in a good mood today! Also, you better watch your back! If I ever see your face again. You know what's coming for you! You hear me!"
I refuted him.
"Yeah same goes for-"
Rock quickly covers my mouth and smiles at lover boy.
"Ha ha ha! He heard you man!"
"Good!"
He winks at the orange hair girl before leaving the cafeteria.
Lokki sighed in relief.
"Phew! That was a close call!"
Roc started relaxing too.
"Yeah you said it!"
As for me... I wasn't satisfied with the outcome.
"I should have kicked lover boy's ass."
Lokki reacted to what I said.
"Dude if that ever happens make sure you get it filmed and upload it on Utube. If it hits a million views let's split the profit 50:50."
Roc protested...
"Hey! Where the hell is my share?"
Lokki reluctantly answered.
"Alright 40:40:10"
"Why do I only get 10 percent?"
"Because you didn't do anything."
"You didn't do anything either wise guy!"
"Hey I was the one who suggested it in the first place!"
Before the argument escalated, I had given them a fair proportion.
"60:30:10"
Both Lokki and Roc reacted.
"What's with the unfair proportion?"
"Hey man! Why is mine still ten percent?"
I try to explain to them even though I sucked at it.
"I'll do the fighting. Lokki will do the filming, and Roc will be the cheer leader so 60:30:10."
Lokki seems to agree with me while Roc protested.
"Hmm... Make sense."
"Make sense my ass! What the hell?"
Suddenly everybody starts applauding.
"Good job new guy!"
"Way to go first years!"
"You guys are the best!"
"Woooohooo! Lover boy is gone!"
So everybody was really calling that guy lover boy huh.
Lokki reacted.
"Looks like we're heroes?"
Roc replied to Lokki.
More like a comedy crew. I brought them back to reality.
"Let's just do what we came here for before lunch break is over."
Both Lokki and Roc agreed.
Suddenly those people who left earlier started lining up again.
We also went back to our lines.
I went to the orange hair girl who was still surprised at what happened.
"Can I have one of those black mashed whatever that thing is called?
I pointed towards a small bowl of a black substance that resembles a mashed potato.
The girl who has orange bob cut hair and red ribbon that kinda resembles a rabbit's ear on her head is still in a daze responds dumbfoundely.
"Huh?"
Now that I take closer look at her, she is really cute!
No wonder lover boy was trying to bust moves at her.
"That!"
I indifferently said trying to keep myself from getting flustered from her cuteness by focusing my gaze at the black mashed whatever.
"Oh!"
The girl gave me what I ordered.
After that she thanked me.
"Umm thanks for earlier! I was really hopeless back there."
"You're welcome."
She was cute and all but we didn't have much time to stay for a chat so I decided to go to the next section.
When I was about to leave, she suddenly calls me.
"Can you please tell me your name?"
Even though I find her cute, I don't like giving my name to random strangers so I decided to give her a name of a retro super hero from earth.
"It's Batman..."
She repeated to herself.
"Batman... Batman... Bat Man?"
I quietly leave...
She notices me leaving.
"Oh wait!"
She gave me a quick introduction.
"I'm Clarissa Avel, a second year from section three. So if you ever need me, you can find me in my classroom or you can just find me here."
"I see..."
"See you later Bat Man!"
She waves at me as I left.
Looks like she fell for it.
I went to the last section which is desert.
Lokki and Roc introduce themselves to her but she wasn't all that interested.
When she asked them about me, they quickly ordered the same thing as I did and left right away.
Maybe because they don't know anything much about me that's why they did that. As for the desert, it's different types of fruits.
I asked the cafeteria lady who was in charge here to give me a pink banana which I found interesting.
Lokki ordered a green apple while Rock ordered a slice of dragon fruit.
We bought some drinks from the vending machine after we found an open table.
As we sat down Lokki and Roc asked me why I didn't give her my name and I told them the reason. We finished eating our lunch. We prepare ourselves for the fifth period.

By the way the boiled steak taste like real steak, the bowl of black substance taste like seaweed flavored mash potato and the pink banana taste like strawberries.
