Chapter 9: A beautiful Mistake
(3rd Person P.O.V)
"There won't be turning back Skylar," Xavier said while laying her down on the ground.
"Who said I want to go back," Skylar ask and kissed him unaware of the fact that someone was watching them from a far place.
The kissed got hated and turn into a hot make-out session. They got into the moment and make love with each other still unaware of the fact that someone was watching them.
(Unkown P.O.V)
I decided to go and keep my eyes on Raychand when I heard he was back from London. I was going towards his mansion to keep an eye on him when I saw him with some woman in the field.
I walk towards a tree and watch what they were doing with each other suddenly I saw that woman kissed him and he reciprocates.
*Just you wait, Raychand,* I thought and look at them to see the things got heated and they started removing their clothes.
*I will make you pay for everything,*I thought and walk away to my carriage not wanting to see them doing it.
*Everything and even more* I thought while leaving that place.
(Xavier P.O.V)
I wake up with a groan when I feel a ray of sun hit me. I tried to wake up but feel a wait on me and I look down to see Skylar hugging me only wearing my jacket to cover her.
*So it was helpless, huh?* I thought while looking up in the sky.
*Flashback*
"You don't love her do you?" my brother asks.
"And what if I don't?" I ask.
"Then why? bother?" he asks.
"You wouldn't understand," I said looking away from him.
*Flashback ends*
*So that is how the loves feel. And is that why he can't able to throw her away from his life* the train of my thoughts was cut off when I feel Skylar stirs beside me.
"So you're awake," I said hugging her close to me.
"It's morning?" she asks in a hoarse voice.
"Yeah," I said and kissed her forehead.
"My family will be worried," she said getting away from me and sitting upon the ground and it's like cold water was thrown at me getting me out of my dream world.
"Get dressed. I will send you home," I said while getting up.
"Xavier....but last night you don't have to feel--" she said but I cut her off.
"Tell your aunt that I will come to visit her at the noon," I said while getting dressed.
"W-Why?" she asks.
"To pay my tribute, and to make an official marriage proposal of course," I said smiling at her.
"I knew it! I will not let you do it! I will not allow it!" she said getting angry.
"You won't allow?" I ask dumbfounded.
"What happened last night was my fault and I won't let you take responsibility," she said looking down at the ground.
"You won't?" I ask raising an eyebrow at her.
"That's right. I don't want you to feel the need to marry me," she said still looking at the ground.
"Unfortunately that is not for you to decide," I said while looking at her.
"I won't marry until it's from love," she said gritting her teeth.
*God what is wrong with her,* I thought running my hand in my hair frustratedly.
"and I won't let myself to be me the one who people will talk about for the next years," I said in a firm voice.
"I don't think what will people say about you," she said while getting dressed.
"You weren't thinking at all! You follow me without any second thought! " I said coming closer to her.
"That's right," she said with a shy smile.
"And what if you find out that you are pregnant?" I ask she was speechless for some time then speak.
"It was only for one time," she argued.
"And one time is enough," I counter back.
"I will know for the sure in few days," she joked.
"A few days those days will be the longest days in your life," I said in a serious tone showing her that I'm in no mood for her jokes.
"Will it be that bad to be married to me?" I aks with a sigh.
"Last night I thought that you have a little bit of a feeling toward me," I said while
"It's not that I have no feelings....I'm just afraid that I will lose myself," she said looking away from me.
"You will not lose yourself. I will always be your side. We will get engage and if you find out that you are pregnant I will bet special permission from the queen and we will get married as soon as possible," I said making her look at me.
"But if you aren't pregnant we will hold the marriage for a couple of months," I said hugging her.
"You want to wait?" she asks shocked.
"If possible, then yes," I said while looking at her.
"You are marrying me because you have no other choice," she said with wide eyes.
"No, because I think we are suitable for each other," I answered while looking her in her eyes. How can she think that, didn't I pour all my feeling in front of her. I want to wait because I want to spend more time with her to know her even more and wanted to become a husband she desires not because I have no other choice.
"Now, let's go before your aunt started assuming that I hurt or killed you," I said holding her hand leading her toward my carriage.
