Chapter 65: A beautiful egg

''This is what I was talking about,'' Elvina pressed the tip of her index finger on his neck.

He touched the spot her fingers rested on. 

As his hand glided above her finger, her lips parted slightly and she retracted her hand. 

Archer glanced at her doubtfully before he turned his head. Adjusting the rearview mirror of the car, he glanced at his reflection. 

From the lowered corner of his turtle neck sweater, he could see the hickeys on his neck. They were mostly faded but the purplish mark on his skin made people envision a lot of things. A lot. 

He stroked the spot, and the memories of that night flashed in his head. That was the only time she let her guard down around him. Sobbing and crying throughout her nightmares; she hugged him and he sat her on his lap, calling her who knows how many times intending to wake her up.
