Chapter 71: Mass Evolution

Alaric was in awe at the sight before him. He knew that it would be the case, but the sheer surface area that was overtaken by the 144 slimes he now had access to was astounding. The center of the village, which was now circled by 5 houses, with a work-in-progress evacuation center just half a kilometer in the direction of the forest, had taken on the color blue.

'Once Sonic arrives with the food, this will be even more chaotic. After all, the slimes are only half of their maximum size right now...'

Obviously, he planned to evolve a set of these slimes. The named ones of course.

Having already considered the resources at hand, Alaric decided to evolve 8 slimes. This would cost 64 slime cores, meaning he'd lose 64 rank-1 slimes total. He wanted to keep a good amount of rank-1 slimes so that his resources would continue to grow.
