Chapter 7: Here Be Dragons
POV Woden
I was standing there in my tower thinking of what just happened. Firstly I was not expecting to made a lord of anything and secondly I have no idea why I gave a prophecy like that.
Moving past that, I need to start planning for the future. And to do that I need to fix the Moat Cailin.
I could do it the hard way with labor but, that could take years. If I remember correctly there were some building spell that both Bran the builder and some Valyrian sorcerers used.
Moving over to a shelf filled with leather bound books. I pick up a few books. And start rereading them.
Half an hour later
To summarize the Valyrians used sacrificial slaves to magically build structures and enchant them.
While in the magic of the First Men it wasn't persay magic that built the but magical creatures and human sorcerers enchanted them.
Now here is the problem I have come across, I don't have thousands of slaves to sacrifice and hundreds of magical creatures to help me rebuild the castle. Nor do I have the man power.
Then it struck me. To run a castle I need people so why don't I just hire the people I mean with all the money I made from the book business I am easily the 6th richest lord in westeros now.
Now you may be wondering how I made so much money off books. Well think about who is buy the books, that would be lords and ladies that have nothing to do all day besides read and work and with the entertainment just not I guess entertaining enough. I could sell easily any of the books I have that are not important and or dangerous to me for at least a thousand dragons each and more if the lords see value in the book.
A worker only gets paid 5 dragons a year and the material for the castle should only be about a couple million and with me having over 10 million dragons a year, I think I will have enough money and resources.
I should move my focus on finding suitable dragon eggs.
I have a theory that when Belarion the Black Dread came back with scars from his excursion he had come north to find a mate and maybe he did.
That is why I am now moving to the gods wood with my old masters staff and a few new talismans that will boost my greenseer power to find what I need.
As I move closer to the gods wood I hear children laughing and playing. In these last 5 years Sansa was born and Robb and Jon grew quite close.
When I move closer I see Jon and Robb playing with sticks.
Clearing my throat with a smile, I see them turn to me and Robb lights up with smiles and giggles while Jon scrunches his nose. Kinda like lady Stark.
In this time line catlyn seems to hate me and put all her insecurities into hating me instead of Jon. So she taught Jon alot more on Southern traditions and culture. Basically to hat anything to do with magic.
Which I hate to see because he is just pumping with magic in his veins. Unlike my Valyrian bloodline his is true born and in magic that meqns alot. Every man unconsciously disconnects a bit of his bloodline when he says his child is a bastard. So with Jon having a unbastardized bloodline he probably has a stronger talent for some fields of magic than me.
"Cousin, what brings you to the gods wood this late in the day. You normally do your prayer before breakfast." Robb breaks me from my internal monolog.
"I have come to cast a very versatile and large spell today. It will help me find thing... lost things." I answer him
Jon looks skeptical. "And what things have you come to find. Warlock." Robb jabs his side at the comment.
I smile and reply "dragon eggs"
Their mouths drop.
3rd POV
After wowing the brothers Woden swiftly walks into the gods woods and heads for the heart tree. Once there he puts his hand on the tree and mummers something and is assaulted by visions of all the dragon eggs of the north. Woden is surprised by the sheer quantity of dragon eggs in the north.
He steps away from the tree and looks directly into the pool of water next to it and0 says "Here be dragons" with a slight smile.

Thank you everyone for the support. It means everything to me. I did not think anyone would like this very much. And to answer the big question no there will be no bl romance in this. It just does not feel right for this character. Anyway can you think of some names I have a few but they sound stupid to me if you have any please tell me.
