"No! This slice of cake is mine!"

"No, I'm older than you. So, this is mine!"

Two small voices were heard in the dining room. One boy with black hair and purple eyes had his hand on the other side of the platter while one girl with blonde hair and blue eyes had her hand on the other side of the platter as well.

Both of them were tugging the platter to their side, making their mother, Angeal, sigh in exasperation as she struggled to the thought of scolding them, or taking a deep breath and reprimand them calmly.

It was already eight in the evening and with her finishing some chapters for her story's manuscript that is due in a few months; she felt her head heavy and made the action of scolding them too much for her to do.

Heck, not even a single word can escape from her mouth!
