Chapter 24: Our Date #3
"Well, I am that singer.", I told Austin while avoiding his eye contact. "Noah", he called to me while placing his warm hand against my cheek. I looked back towards him as he continued, "I couldn't care less if you are a singer, I honestly think it's quite cool." "Huh- you're not mad? I thought you'd be upset since it might effect your career.", I asked. He just shook his head and and pulled me closer to him. At this time we were near the peak of the Ferris wheel ride, and he leaned in close to me. He pressed his lips against mine, and I felt his arms wrap around my waist.
We started to kiss deeper, and I laid my arms on top of his shoulders. I was leaning back as he held onto me, and we were busy continuing our make out session when we heard a cough. Austin pulled away from me and I looked outside the cabin door. The ride had ended and the attendant was covering his mouth. My face grew hot and red from embarrassment. Austin grabbed my hand and walked me out of the ride. Our date was about over, and the sky had become dark. Austin still hasy hand in his, and we are heading towards the exit. Before we left the private reserved area, Austin put back on his mask and cap. He led me back to the car and opened the door for me, he then got in and locked the door.
"Austin is something wrong? Why did you want to leave so fast?", I asked him. "It's nothing it's just- um, do you wanna sleep over tonight?", he asked me. "Um- sure", I said he started the car and I noticed both of our faces were very red. I texted my mom that I was staying over at a friend's house tonight. Austin turned on the radio, and we sat in comfortable silence until we made it to Austin's house. "Um here.", I heard Austin say as he hands me a cap and mask. I nod and put it on, and he leads me up to his apartment.
