After a few hours of fighting his shadow pet, which reached the level which allowed him to fight 2 at a time. Cyrus saw some real improvement in his skills along with getting some good battle experience. Especially against what the spiders could do. As Cyrus sits down drinking his water and tearing at another cooked piece of wolf flesh. He decides to take stock of all the notifications he had popped up in the last few hours.

Cyrus sits there staring at his stat screen, contemplating what to spend his points on.
"Definitely more Intelligence for more mana. Recovery so I can maybe bring it to where I'm almost never running out of mana. Increase my speed a bit so I can dodge out of the way better. Well maybe it would just be worthwhile to put points into everything and just make those 3 my top priority."

"I should be ready now to fight that Spider Knight and maybe fight multiple of them at once." Standing up, Cyrus notices in the corner of his vision 2 more notifications.

"That was unexpected but definitely welcomed, I have a feeling I will be having quite the difficult time ahead of me. This Archive skill sounds pretty useful, maybe studying certain things. Could level up some skills without too much effort." Cyrus smiles as he says this to himself.
"I need to rest for tomorrow when I go and fight the Spider Knight along with his friends." Laying down on the black grass of his domain. Feeling the breeze brush against his face, strangely enough Cyrus didn't feel cold from laying out in the open. Looking at the sky above him Cyrus could make out a few new stars that littered the sky. Along with what seemed to be the ones he saw before being a bit brighter than what they were in the past.
The training catching up to him Cyrus felt his eyelids closing from the exhaustion. Once his eyes closed though, Cyrus felt lights hitting his eyelids. Feeling cushions beneath him as well, Cyrus decided to open his eyes and sit up. Looking down where his head was laying, he could make out Royal Blue cushions. Taking in the rest of the sights, Cyrus could tell that he was just laying down on a finely crafted bench. Looking ahead of himself, Cyrus saw that he was in a room filled with bookshelves lining the walls.
There was one door across from himself. Standing up Cyrus, looked at the ornate shelves. Each shelf had a golden placard with labels etched into them. Walking toward one of the book shelves, Cyrus read the placard to himself.
"Childhood age 3. Interesting, this must be that skill I just received. Archive, was it?" With a quizzical hum leaving his lips, Cyrus started to pace along the shelves. Reading the placards for each one as he passed. After looking about the room, he stood in place as the flickering flames of the sconces on the wall licked across his face.
"All of the stuff in this room is everything I experienced in my life before this new world. I bet through that door is the stuff I have experienced in this world." With a pip in his step, Cyrus walked to the door. Grabbing the iron curved handle of the door, with a pull it swung open. Stepping through the door, what was once darkness started to light up. As lines of bookshelves started to light up in pairs. The sconces on the sides of the bookshelves coming ablaze. Lighting up sections upon sections of shelving units. Seeing the lights curve, following it with his eyes Cyrus could see another side light up. Walking forward to closest oak banister.
He follows the lights with his eyes seeing it light up more and more of this huge space. As he looks forward, he sees a floor above and below the one he was on. Lighting up at the same pace as the sconces on the floor he was on. Leaning over the banister, Cyrus can't even see the bottom.
"Woah! I did not expect a place this big, for all the info I will be gaining." Cyrus whistles loudly as he says that. Taking a few steps back, Cyrus starts to peruse the aisles of shelves. Seeing most of the shelving units only having one or two books.
"Must be because I haven't really learned anything of this world yet. This place will probably fill up pretty quickly with information." Cyrus stops at one bookshelf that contained a bunch of scrolls. Grabbing one, he unfurled the white parchment. Glancing through the scroll, Cyrus smiled.
"This is the skill Stealth; it has a bunch of info on how to properly sneak through areas. I bet this is what the skill meant on how I can look over certain information to gain better understanding. I bet if I study any of these scrolls, I could level up my skills when I sleep." With a grin on his face Cyrus grabs two more scrolls. Walkling with the three scrolls tucked under his arm. Cyrus finds a seating area with a golden inlay table, that has finely carved designs of mystical creatures along the wood. Setting the scrolls on the table, Cyrus unfurls the 3 scrolls to read.

Spending a few hours reading the scrolls, learning better ways to implement the skills. Each scroll containing techniques and examples of when to use skills. Feeling time slip away from him as he reads, his eyes started to droop close.
The moment his eyes closed in the Archive, they opened in his domain as the black grass kissed his skin from beneath him. Taking up his vision Cyrus could see 3 notifications.
